Someone should tell T.O. that there's no crying in football!

Jerry was not happy. He’s got a one-billion dollar stadium opening next season and foresaw an NFC-champion team occupying it. Unfortunately that is not to be. Now he also has to be wondering about the lavish contract he gave Romo and whether Wade Phillips should stay on. No joy in Dallas this week!

Hopefully with the same result.

I don't think the G-Men can go into frigid Lambeau next Sunday and take down the Pack.
Packers - Pats.
Favre will be the sentimental favorite but the coronation of the Patriots will go ahead as scheduled.

“...That and the fact that the Pack doesn’t have to go to Dallas for the title game....”

Unless GB has to come to Dallas next year for a playoff game, Brett Favre will have never won a game in Texas Stadium. As good as Breet is, that is something he will always live with from his professional life.

I just hate that his last game will be a loss in the SB.

Go Pats!

TO paid for Romo’s trip to Mexico as an “apology” for his Jessica Simpson comments a few weeks back.

IIRC, Bret “Ironman” Favre cried a river on January 31st, 2006 after the Chicago game. I have no problems with crying, only if it is fake and meant to be a crutch.

It’s an emotion game where part of the object of the game is to take another players’ head off.

You can have your opinion on TO and Dallas, most people seemed to be obsessed with Dallas, but who cares if he cries, he has put his ass online which more than I say about a good portion of the adult watching population.

word.

No joy in Dallas this week!

Except for Mark Cuban, because it takes everyone's minds in DFW off of the Mavs recent playoff chokes.

Where is all the Cowboy fans who were talking smack after the first Pats win over them and the rematch would be different and Romo was the best QB?

All the folks trashing Romo forgot Aikman was dating a TV star before the 1993 Superbowl.

Bet he did not go on a vacation. Troy had a good work ethic and was probably watching endless films. He had his priorities right unlike Romeo.

The media is blowing the trip out of proportion. Peyton stayed at the casa de manning studying last weekend and the Colts, lost too.

My guess is, it won't deprive him of any sleep.

I bet no other playoff QB took time away from studying films and what not to go to Mexico.

To be fair, he (and the rest of the team) were on coach's orders to take a few days off and get as far away from football as possible.

I mean, it's not like Romo's going to just kick back and read a book or anything...

I am a die-hard Dallas fan, so I am a little biased, but I agree with TO. They lost as a team, not because Romo did not pull off another miracle at the end of the game. I remember at least 4 dropped balls that should have been caught - two by Patrick Crayton. The penalties were inexcusable. Dallas was taking control of the game in the second quarter when the defense paid so soft that the Giants were able to get a TD before the half which gave them new life and the momentum. If Dallas was up 7 at the half and had scored another TD at the beginning of the third quarter, the outcome would have been very different.

I am trying to be philosophical about it. I'd rather have had them lose yesterday than get to the SB and get killed by NE. The way the Pats were playing Saturday night, nobody is going to beat them. Let Brett Farve play in another SB. Romo will have his day. He has only been a starter for less than a year. Eli has been a starter for 4 years and nobody was writing him off because he did not win a playoff game until last week. Romo has at least had the opportunity to win the game in the last few minutes for two years in a row! A lot of QBs never even get to do that!
