I am sure the Swiss and other offshore banks have some largeish accounts of funds saved for future Shiite philanthropy.

I wouldn't count on a poor showing for the a-hole come March. Thanks FARS, and thanks TLR for the topic. Looks like he's got some money squirreled away, or has been bankrolling some big project, such as the Iranian war against Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Israel, or perhaps he's going to dispense with his betters and rule by pseudo-divine right.
Ahmadinejad, with his peculiar and literal belief that he has divine backing... still found it necessary to deplete the emergency oil reserve fund set up by Ahmadinejad's presidential predecessor, Mohammed Khatami. According to the Iranian central bank he took $35.3 billion from the fund in his first year and $43 billion in his second year, as a new book, Ahmadinejad, by Kasra Naji, records. Nor is it easy to work out what Ahmadinejad has spent it on, because he has channelled much of it through religious foundations and to contracts of his own nomination rather than leaving it under the control of ministers and elected parliamentarians. But the predictable result of the spending was inflation, rising from 12 to 19 per cent. Many were put out of work by his sudden decision to raise the minimum wage by nearly half. The climax of this spectacle was the petrol rationing announced so suddenly on June 27, 2007, that motorists could not complete their journeys. For the fourth-largest exporter of oil in the world, that is a humiliation. In the run-up to the March elections to the parliament, the Majlis, there have been signs of a rift between Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme religious leader. The President's critics, once silenced, are now allowed full voice. MPs say openly that the real jobless figure is near 20, not 10, per cent.

LOL.

I see.

Well, I think you are talking about more than a shooting war.

A shooting war would unite Iran and make the people forget their troubles in the face of overcoming the Great Shaitan. Uno, something like what is going on between Hamas and Israel now.But beggars can't be choosers now, can they?

Its what Amadinijad wants. He does not want wholesale bombardment to happen. Thus the little provocations, hoping that the US military will make a mistake,so he can do more than sending IED components and suicide bombers to Iraq, like quick runs , attacks, inside Iraq and out again.

Ahminajihad is getting desperate. Our job is to watch him run around like a dog $hitting razor blades, which is what he is doing right now.

Looks good on him too!

Soon the people of Iran will de-elect him for blowing all Irans money on foreign military adventures on behalf of that well hole dwelling trope, the 12th Imamster.

Pi$$ be upon him.

“So, everyone in the government is Khamenei’s chained dog?”

Yes. That includes Ahmadinejad.

The fact that the Revolutionary Guards are disillusioned is a very good thing—esp. with Khamenei as well as Ahmadinejad. TheBassiji are the fanatics of the highest order , so they will never be dismayed. In fact, don’t know if it’s true, but heard that many of the Bassiji are not even Iranians, but fanatical Arabs from other places.

I wonder what the 12th Imam smells like after being in a well for so many centuries?

Yeah, but as many have posted we can’t get into a shooting war with the Iranians. Would love to know what the administration is doing to help anti-regime forces inside and outside Iran—if they’re doing anything at all. The Mullahcracy has to implode, and it won’t if we send American forces to fight them directly.

Too bad he never has used any of that money for a makeover. He could become the first Iranian metrosexual and have a photo-op with Bloomberg (who once proudly announced he was a metro-sexual too).

You'd still know it's her - juice from that festering herpes sore on her lower lip would leach through burka cloth in no time.

If you want me to react to something please send me Freep mail to get the attention you desire.

Specially since I have been BEDRIDDEN with a devasatating ‘flu till today (Thursday) and struggling with fever to strong that I was hallucinating and not eating/drinking for days at a time.

As a young girl who sold me coffee today said, “sounds like you were on mushrooms”. In my day I would have said LSD. Dates me does it not?

Fever broke last night. So I must be mending. A friend called me early this morning, asked if I was still alive and after being reassured hung up. They normally chat.

I have put various “feed options” on the seven pages of Antimullah, so you can subscribe and get notification every time a new post goes up on one of the AntiMullah pages.. Almost daily.

Apparently hospital emergency s\wards have been overwhelmed with people down with this severe form of ‘flu and some did not make it. Guess I still have unfinished work that the man above wants completed before calling me home.

cheers to all

There have been some bizarre and heavy hitting flus going around the last couple years. After last year, when my son and I took multiple turns with one that took us out for a cumulative month or so, I made sure we got shots this year.

I'm glad you're feeling better.

I'll check out the notification options, thanks very much.
