Hi, everybody, this is John Ziegler, happy to be back from my two-month exile from L.A. Radio, with my very first commentary for KGIL, made possible by my friends at Mostly Windows and Doors.
So much has happened in the topsy-turvy presidential race since I left KFI, that it would be impossible to cover it all in one commentary. So today, I just want to concentrate on the newest BIG issue: Whether Hillary and Bill Clinton give enough respect to prominent black people.
An anti-Clinton firestorm was started when Hillary had the audacity to claim that Martin Luther King could not have passed the Civil Rights Bill all by himself. While Bill Clinton often ludicrously referred to as the first black president appeared to call Barack Obamas presidential candidacy "a fairy tale.
I have to laugh at the racial quandary the Clintons now find themselves in. In a bit of sweet irony, the Clintons are now being punished for crimes they didnt currently commit, after being mysteriously absolved of numerous real racial indiscretions in the past.
The reality is, if you actually look at what they said - I know thats a novel concept in the short attention span era - Hillary did not diss MLK, even though he may have deserved it. And Bill did not really refer to Obamas campaign as a fairy tale, even though in many way it is.
But, much like OJ Simpson, perhaps going to prison for a botched burglary, when he got away with double murder: The Clintons are finally getting what they deserve.
After all, it was Bill Clinton who used blacks like Vernon Jordan and Betty Currie, as his virtual slaves during the impeachment scandal. And it was Clinton who threw black women, Lonnie Guinere and Jocelyn Elders, under the bus at the first sign of trouble.
It was Hillary, who at least twice during this campaign, condescendingly altered her voice during addresses to black audiences.
I guess justice is not only blind, its also rather slow: But it may have come just in time to derail The Hillary Presidential Express.

Bill will find a reverse “Sister Souljah” moment for Hillary.
Maybe we can call it a Brother Bubba moment..
Funny how the lib writers who recently tried to claim Reagan was a racist aren’t nearly so vehement about this CURRENT and LIVING politician’s ridiculous attempts at racial division.
Re: Sister Souljah—see my post above about the supposed racism of Reagan. Those same writers don’t seem to recall Bill’s obvious and undeniable racism with Sister Souljah.

Great he is back.
The best yard sign of 2008:
