Twelve serial sex offenders cross the U.S. border illegally every day, according to a 2006 Department of Homeland Security report.
Police in Chandler say one such offender ended up in their community and raped four young girls over the past year and a half.
"When I first saw the (Chandler rapist sketch) I told my wife I guarantee he is illegal," said Al Rodriguez, founder of the anti-illegal immigration group, 'You Don't Speak For Me.'
Records show Santana Batiz Aceves entered the U.S. illegally back in 1988.
Since then, police have deported him twice back to his native Mexico, but each time he managed to return.
Rodriguez says our borders have become open invitations for predators like Aceves.
"Enforce the rule of law," said Rodriguez. "We have the rules that can get these people out."
"The person who did this is not a good person...the fact he's here illegally, I'm not sure how that plays in," said Harry Garewal, President of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. "For example, the Baseline rapist, we never say anyone is a U.S. citizen arrested for rape," added Garewal.
Garewal is concerned about the potential fallout from the Chandler Rapist case.
"It doesn't matter if it's a US citizen or someone here illegally, bad people do bad things to good people and that's the bottom line," said Garewal
It seems that in the 72 hours since his arrest, Aceves has fueled the fire in an already heated illegal immigration debate.

They act like he is some kind of Houdini. How hard is it to walk across an unsecure border?
In addition, the paper insists that those of us against ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS to be racists! and say we hate all ‘brown skinned’ people. What a collection of shallow, open borderistas.
DUH? What doesn’t Garewal get about the simple fact that if the rapist hadn’t broken our laws in the first place to get into the US and the fact that he wasn’t either imprisoned or permanently kept out of the country for THAT offense of entering ILLEGALLY, he wouldn’t have been able to terrorized these poor victims? This has to be a certain sociopathic mindset that just can’t comprehend this rather simple logic.
Just doing the raping of Americans that average Americans.....oh, forget it. You know the rest of the story (and so does Jorge Bush).
This attitude is so indicative of the rapid disappearance of nationalism in the US. Many think like this clown, so what if the victims were American citizens and the criminal illegal? That has no meaning to many, and I dare say most recent first or second generation imports. WWII means nothing to them.
Deportees who return and are rearrested should be branded with a big D on the forehead to discourage recidivism.

Call ICE, Harry Garewal and all the members of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce need to be investigated for Illegal Immigrant hirings and other Illegal activities.

Good point. I believe that is true. There have been studies done on this topic but at the moment I can only recall one about spies.
I will never forget the story about the 13 year old girl who was at Fry’s with her father. An illegal immigrant saw her leaving the ladie’s room, decided he needed to ‘get some of that’, and pushed her back in the restroom and attempted to rape her - in broad daylight, in a public place.

As long as we have open borders, this type of horrendous crime will continue. IMHO, these people are showing us that they were raised to take what they want, whenever and wherever they want it. Nothing short of animalistic behavior.
