occulted by a scholar I don't think I've seen it used as a verb before. But it seems to be an oddly appropriate word choice.

The koran is simply the bible twisted to meet mohammed’s purpose of domination over enemies.

They use it in reference to the twelfth imam too. He has been in occultation since 1342 or some non-sense like that. I thought that was appropriate too. And I think the whole koran is a hoax.

Mohammed was an anti-Christ. He acknowledged Jesus AND denied Him and led the flock astray.

I read the article in the WSJ about this subject. It didn’t contend that the Koran is a hoax. It talked about the efforts to apply the same textual criticism to the Koran that was applied to the Bible. Apparently the loss of these films for sixty years made this analysis impossible. Now that they have resurfaced it may become possible again to critically look at the Koran and trace it’s development. Of course it would require courageous researchers to do this.

"Im waiting for Time Magazine and the History channel to pour over this evidence and have exposes during the next Ramadan..." I suspect persons in charge at those media outlets are far too in favor of their heads remaining attached to their necks.

If true, absolutely no good can come from this. Staunch believers will not back away from their beliefs, they will only become enraged. This has the potential to destabalize the world if not treated with extreme caution.
Furthermore, it will further encourage mockery of religion of all stripes in the West.

I always had a funny feeling about Islam......... ;-)
To: weegee
Would be consistent.
Of course what will really happen is that this information will remain “occulted”.
