Hillary Clinton Campaign Responds to Barack Obama's Pro-Abortion Claims

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The Hillary Clinton campaign wasted little time in responding to a conference call Barack Obama's campaign held with the media on Monday. Just minutes after Obama's campaign finish flashing his pro-abortion credentials, the Clinton campaign took to the phones to refute the information and promote her pro-abortion views.

The dispute concerns pro-life bills that Obama voted present on during his tenure in the Illinois state legislature.

Clinton's team previously took Obama to task in Iowa and New Hampshire over the votes, but Planned Parenthood has rushed to his defense saying he coordinated the voting strategy with the abortion business.

Clinton adviser Ann Lewis, a longtime abortion advocate and former spokeswoman for Bill Clinton, didn't dispute the Obama camp's contention that he had a 100% pro-abortion voting record.

Instead, according to the Huffington Post, Lewis said the present votes on abortion and other issues made it appear as if Obama is unwilling to take a stand on controversial topics.

"Presidents don't get to vote present," she said, according to the blog.

The Clinton camp said coordinating strategy can't be used as a defense for all of the votes.

"There are also a number of votes where he was the only person who voted 'present.' If there was a strategy at play it appears he was the only one employing it," said Clinton spokesman Phil Singer.

Responding to Clinton's response, Obama said it seemed some of his opponents "don't seem to have anything positive to say about their own record. All they're trying to do is run me down."

A head long race to claim who kills babies better. This is truly sad.

Facinating because if you saw Hilary on CNN’s bizarre “Religion in Politics” show, Hilary said she hates all abortions and sought common ground with a pro life religious congregation, she hopes there will not be a single abortion.

From her own filthy lying mouth.

"I'm responsible for more babies being killed than you ever "Dreamed" of", said Hillary...

After all, I'm a woman and have had 35 years of saying: "Kill your babies". You'll never beat my record Mr. Obama!!

These people are sick!! Very sick!!

It is a bad sign when a candidate can hide her WH records and not open them, while she’s running for office. You would think she’d be ignored until she shows us her “experience.”

You know, I was having a conversation with my sister the other day and she pointed something out that I had not thought about. This country and specifically liberals and the media were up in arms with Michael Vick for his inhuman treatment of animals. But daily in this country millions of babies are ripped from their mothers wombs and you don’t hear a peep from any of these people.

Don’t get me wrong what Michael Vick did was wrong but compared to what they do to babies, it is a drop in the bucket. Their indignation is hypocritical.

Would Hilly go as far as to claim she had one if it meant she would win?

I think she's 'been there, done that'.

She will change, and it will be a crushing defeat for Planned Parenthood and the pro-aborts. They have no idea they are supporting one who will eradicate their firewall issue right before their eyes. The power of the pro-life movement grows every day, changing hearts one at a time. Victory will be ours.

“I can kill more babies than you can!”

“No, you can’t!”

“Yes, I can!”

“I voted three times against the Infants Born Alive Protection Act!”

“Listen, sonny, I was working for abortion before you were even born! And I would have aborted you, too, if anybody asked me!”
