Well McCain would be better than Romney, Huckabee or Rudy. I guess that depends on how you define better. McCain is definately the most liberal of all the Republican candidates.

The McCain List.
Common sense conservatism
McCain picks up Key Conservative Endorsement
Presenting...
Dr. Tom Coburn, U.S. Senator (R-OK)
To: WildcatClan
His Fox interview looked pretty solid to me.
To: Rick.Donaldson
I thought that they meant James Coburn, too. Since he's dead, I doubt he gets around much anymore, though.
James Coburn was tougher than Chuck Norris AND Jack Bauer. Combined.

I’m sure this decision will surprise if not shock some folks. Sen Coburn is a staunch conservative, yet he finds McCain to be the best choice available. WOW!
Another example why this is the craziest primary contest ever.
GO FRED!

"Most of those listed are NOT Rinos. Collins, Graham, Smith, Snowe and Warner are. Maybe Domenici."Domenici unquestionably.
And I hate to mention this, but you've just listed "most" of the people on the list you claim to diagree with...

Hadn’t seen this. Snowe and Collins endorsing McCain is reason enough for me not to vote for him.

Rush on fire is discussing this polling data...he thinks that McCain might be cooked. And the Drive-Bys think we’re just stupid for not voting for him! Romney beat McCain among Repubs and the Drive-Bys say—hmm, that could bode well for Mitt. Really???

Not sure this is accurate - doesn’t seem to reflect Coburn’s principles, but I’ll probably learn something if it’s true.

Howzabout Coburn/Marvin for pres? That'd be a ticket I'd vote for.

Coburn is my senator and I'm proud to have voted for him, but WTF is up with this?
McCain basically stands against everything Coburn believes, I hope Washingtonitis isn't infecting his brain, this might be one of those "he's my good friend" situations.

Put Charles Bronson and Yul Brenner in the cabinet and that would be a helluva ticket.

Romney beat everyone among Republicans in his native state. There’s one winner to every primary.
To: JRochelle
Well, this is very disappointing as I really respect Coburn, and his conservatism. Oh well...that’s politics...

Oh no, that is all wrong. Was I mistaken re Coburn?
They are on opposite sides of “comprehensive immigration reform.”
I can’t believe this either.
