The golden rule: He who has the gold makes the rules. In the 1964 James Bond Movie, Goldfinger, an international financial terrorist attempts to take over the world financial system by destroying American gold reserves stored at Fort Know with a nuclear bomb - a foreboding yet imaginative plot, but very messy and not too likely to succeed. What if you came up with a lucrative plan, ....

I like the idea of keeping the money supply away from government control...

The Federal Reserve is not part of the government, it is private.

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks...will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." -Thomas Jefferson

Ron Paul, himself, is as surprised as anyone by the breadth of support that he has garnered. From Anarchists to anti-Zionists, Ron Paul attracts them all.

WHOO HOO, that's something to be proud of huh? :D

Mr. Paul knows that this is no winning coalition, and will never lead to the White House. And even if it did, the chances of achieving such a radical move are next to none.

OHHHHHHH, if only his SUPPORTERS would realize that? Seems like he's running a big SUCKER campgain. By still running, and taking PEOPLE'S MONEY, but YET, knowing his chances are "next to none", what else could it BE, BUT a SCAM?

LOL, please, please, let's let this be the last Paul thread on FR. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Reality is calling, but Paul's supporter's aren't picking up the phone!

It's right there in black and white from the same article that started the thread!!!!!!!! Ron Paul KNOWS he can't win!!!!!!

So why are we wasting time paying him any attention?

Yikes, scary video.

How about Steve Forbes agreeing with Ron Paul’s views on our currency and the gold standard? Yet he backs the dress wearing fella from New York.

Thanks.

Do you feel the same about Hunter, Gulliani and Thompson...each of whom have received less votes then Paul thus far in the primaries?

Yes, why are you paying so much attention to him? If he's such a nothing, it's funny to see all the pixels on this site dedicated to proclaiming he amounts to nothing.

If he really is no threat, why the constant refrain of people reassuring themselves he is no threat?

Weird.

Actually, Paul is still a threat. He's employing a beautiful rope-a-dope campaign. The other candidates are going broke and won't have the money to compete on Super Tuesday. They put all of their eggs in one basket. That's why there's been a different Republican winner in each early primary state so far.

The other candidates can't win nationally like Paul can. Paul can win in liberal states like WA, NJ, NY, and he can win in the Midwest and the South. He's a national candidate, while the other candidates have tailored their message for a specific state. Fred will win SC, Rudy may win FL, and Paul will have Super Tuesday all to himself because the other candidates put all of their energies trying to win their own state.

And this money bomb will give Paul at least $8 million. Everyone knows who Dr. King is.

***this money bomb will give Paul at least $8 million.***

You thing so? Very nice figure for him, very nice.

I always remain conservative on the fundraising. I would like to see at least him beat his 4.2 million goal.

8 is great.

All this talk/writing about gold made me remember the January 21st Money bomb. RP will raise more money in two hours than FDT did in a week. Ron Paul Republican Revolution invites everyone to come on board.

You know I'm on board. Heck, I made a video about it. :-D

Oh, and everyone should watch this one too: Free At Last

Cut and run can not win in ANY state. But if he could it would definitely be in a LIBERAL anti-American leaning state.

Really like the F/A/L video.

Music is great. Was that an NOPD officer on the War on Drugs?

Very good.

You should thank the admins for allowing you to propagate the same shrill leftist and Al Qaeda echoing propaganda that one would see on DUmmie.com, Moveon.org or Nation Magazine without getting your account yanked.

Congrats Mohammed!

I saw the MLK/Ron Paul video. Very funny!

I guess associating Ron Paul to Ronald Reagan didn't work so well with all the lunatics and leftist who make up Ron Paul 08' so you are trying MLK?

In the nearly 10 years that I have posted at this website only four of my posts have been deleted by moderators or Jim before he had them. Every deletion was an insult I made to another poster that while accurate, may have been in poor taste. I always appreciated the deletions and thanked the moderators for removing the comment. Point of fact...the last deletion was a comment I made to you.
