Washington, 35, alleges that she was battered by Moss in her Fort Lauderdale home on Sunday, January 6 (the Patriots did not play that weekend due to the team's opening round bye in the NFL playoffs).

Washington contends that she has had an "intimate relationship" with the 30-year-old athlete since 1997. In the "lethality assessment" section of a court form, she checked off boxes indicating that Moss has guns and a "drug or alcohol problem."

See petition for temporary restraining order, Section VI, wherein it is alleged that Randy Moss is in possession of guns (note the plural) and has an alcohol or drug problem.

The petition also alleges that Moss injured a woman with whom he had an imtimate relationship. The allegation is, apparently, that he beat up his girlfriend and then threatened her if she sought medical treatment for her injuries.

Whether or not these allegations are true, one thing is clear to most decent NFL fans:

Randy Moss is slimy and the Patriots are a cheating, disgraceful organization. The stench coming out of Boston seems to get worse every day.

Undoubtedly, there will be many Patriot fans who will defend Moss as if their lives depended on it, regardless of what facts are ultimately proven. Most of these douchebags have contempt for rules and continue to deny that their coach is a cheater and many of their team's "wins" in recent years are tainted.

So we believe the live-in girlfriend, automatically? Is there anything to indicate that what she is saying, is actually true? I mean, not a "little bit " true, but in actual fact true.

Moss has alcohol drug "problems". What? He drinks a forty, and smokes a bowl, or something? Or are talking real problem?

This story sounds [to me] that it is highly probable this woman is exaggerating.

Don't get me wrong. I despise woman beaters...I've even sent one man to the hospital, personally [to have his face stitched up, from where I ripped it open with my bare hand...] but women will at times, bring false, exaggerated accusation against a man they cannot 'control', particularly in requests for restraining orders, or in divorce papers. That happens most every day in this country, I'd bet.

Randy sent mixed signals. First he said he never ever ever laid a hand on a girl ... ever. Then he said it was an accident. Then he said “no way was she hurt”.

I’ve always kind of liked the guy, for what reason I couldn’t really say, and I retain a lot of sympathy for him. But what actually happened? ... a nagging thought.

Read this letter from Moss’ agent to a beat writer for the Pats. Then ask why he would go to these lengths if the allegations of the complaint were true.

Really? Then why is it you are always in the minority with your posts? The majority doesn't agree with you or any one of the other half dozen threads you continue to post your Patriot rants on. Give it up, they are a great team, whereas you are a poor loser, a poor sport and your own posts disqualify you as a "decent" NFL fan.....!!!!
