The Old Grey Witch hates the troops - they ARE the Enemedia within.
Peters was on with Bill O. discussing this...shame on the Times (again!)
good for Ralph Peters!
I’d like to have a bell around the neck of every person working for the NY Times, so that every time the bell rings, we know a traitor is nearby.
Media was horrified at the number of American flags displayed after 9/11.
They are equally horrified that Americans have been turning out in droves to welcome our Troops home.
What they really want is the public spitting on them like in the good old days...
Hey Tas — you’re right. Do you remember that commercial that ran on TV for a while — it said something like “Some things were changed on 9-11...” and the picture changes from a normal looking neighborhood street to that same street but every house had a flag on it. I LOVE that commercial.
Thanks.
Sadly, I think you are right.
....msm did the same thing after VietMam....portrayed the returning vet as a mad dog.
You’re very welcome!! (and isn’t saying “thanks” in direct contrast to your screenname? LOL!!!)
Don’t be fooled. It’s a trap.
BFLR.
...by the way here’s what Wall Street thinks of the NYT’s business sense:
I hope Pinch and the boys are really enjoying this! Caught again!
A great article. But I thought the funniest part was that bit at the end:
“Ralph Peters is a retired Army officer who has yet to kill any of his neighbors (although they’d better keep their grass cut).”
And the war was reported by a self serving Media who penned stories filled with inaccuracies, deliberate omissions, biased presentations and blatant distorted interpretations. ( Television's Vietnam, The Impact of Media ) The Vietnam War became more about journalists (Dan Rather, Walter Cronkite) than about a war for the survival of liberal democracy in Southeast Asia. If only they loved their country's young and willing warriors as much as they loved their own children. The welfare of the troops and the TRUTH took a back seat to the press' sense of its own importance. Thanks to John Kerry the "Opportunist", Jane Fonda the "Communist" and Walter Cronkite and the other left wing journalists who were too swept up in their own danse macabre to even notice the murderous consequences of their own malfeasance -- or to hear the demands of simple decency. We never lost a battle in Vietnam but we lost the war at home under color of the coward and liar.
Sounds pretty darn familiar.
BFLR??
Looks like the Old Grey Witch is going the way of Air America. Good riddance!
