War On Terror: If there are any doubts that political correctness is hamstringing the Pentagon in its fight against radical Islam, look no further than the case of Maj. Stephen Coughlin.
Hesham Islam, a personal aide to deputy Defense secretary Gordon England, criticized Coughlin for telling a hard truth that could save soldiers lives and help us win the war against jihadists.
But what really set him off, according to Washington Times Pentagon correspondent Bill Gertz, were briefings Coughlin recently prepared for the U.S. military warning that major U.S. Muslim groups were fronting for the Muslim Brotherhood, a worldwide jihadist movement based in Egypt.
Turns out Islam, who was born and raised in Egypt, is heavily involved with one of the groups — the Islamic Society of North America, which U.S. prosecutors last year named an unindicted co-conspirator in a major terror-funding case.

Seems they have infested government quite a bit in such a short time. No wonder it's so "blind" to islam.
This is a very, very serious problem, which is getting little or no traction in the press and obviously does not cause Bush any concern.
What bothers me is that this is probably only the tip of the iceberg. Hesham Islam is probably only one of many Islamists in the Pentagon.
With the CIA broken and almost useless, and mostly interested in undermining Bush and the war effort, military intelligence is very important. It was military intelligence that succeeded in finding and capturing the top Saddam players in Iraq, after the CIA proved to be completely useless at this task.
I hate to think what may be going on under that jerk Gordon England.

Just in case you missed these two threads on Coughlin. His paper is worth a read. To fire someone of that caliber is unconscionable. Something is very wrong in the upper echelons of our government.
The chaplain, Abuhena Saifulislam, is friends with Islam and works closely with him on Pentagon outreach projects involving the Wahhabi lobby in Washington."
It would be very nice knowing who is on the Saudi Payroll. Something is terribly wrong here. We loose Coughlin and allow Islamists in the Inner Sanctum. Unbelievable!
Yes, thanks, I think I’ve seen all the threads on this mess. It’s amazing that it hasn’t gone further since the story broke.
See this documentary and you will probably be as outraged as I am about the muslim infiltration of our government.

Imho, Bill Clinton is responsible for decimating our intelligence agencies.
It’s been going on for a long time, at least since the time of the Church Committee after the Dems forced our pullout from Vietnam.
But clinton certainly was responsible for a lot of it—not only putting in his people, but promoting people who were willing to sell out to him.
But President Bush bears some of the blame, because he has done practically nothing to straighten it out.
...which continues apace.
You would think that 911 would have gotten people’s attention. Imho, the average American can’t afford to bury their heads in the sand anymore.
Thanks for the post, balls. Knighthawk, sub-titles are in Dutch.
Apparently next time I need to fill out an SF-86 I can put whatever I want on it, since it's obvious they're not investigated anymore.
The seeds of our destruction have been planted in the soil of political correctness. [I just made that up]
Thanks for the ping. Thanks for the link, balls. I just finished watching all 12. It was about 2 hours of time well spent.
OUTSTANDING
This past week I read Nonie Darwish’s book, “Now They Call Me Infidel: Why I Renounced Jihad”.
Her father was an Egyptian intel officer under Gamel Abdel Nasser and was assassinated by the Israeli’s in 1956. Considered to be Shahid, meaning a Muslim martyr killed in Jihad, he and his family were held in very high esteem.
She immigrated to the U.S.A. and became a citizen, eventually becoming alienated from the growing fanaticism of Muslims in America enough to convert to Chrisianity.
It is a good read and gives a view of Muslims and their cultural outlooks from a perspective I’ve not yet read. Women tend to see things men do not; since she came from within Egyptian society, where women had a tiny bit of freedom compared to Saudi Arabia and was well educated, she expresses opinions highly critical of her own Muslim religion. She also doesn’t hesitate to unload on the liberals in this country. What she has to say about U.C.Berkley and its beliefs will delight everyone here at FreeRepublic.
Try this book. It’s a keeper.
I have not pinged you in so long. But earlier this evening I watched balls’ documentary link and it was quite educational.
Do you know why Bin Laden chose the date 9/11? It is an important day in history.
I learned quite a lot in the hour and half. The documentary is broken up into 12 sections. The first five sections shows our leaders' (US and Britain) policy towards Islam. The remaining seven sections are the most interesting in my view. The current map of wars in the world is quite interesting (section 7). Section 9 hits the nail on the head and the last section is unnerving. Please if you have time to spare try to watch this documentary. It is very worthwhile.
thanks for the ping. No islam=no terror.
