Nice to see some perspective here. Hey, I was a Tancredo guy, so that tells you where I'm coming from. But we can't make the perfect the enemy of the good.

The other difference between thsoe two and McCain is that they both NEED conservatives and they know it. McCain doesn't think he needs them - and with all the support he gets from the left, he may just be right.

As far as your comment about McCain not being likely to get the nomination.....there are times when I think the same thing. Then I look at the concern so many have with "electability" and I think he might just do it.

God help us if he does.
