I hope Romney pulls this out but it’s going to be tough with the Amnesty-CryptKeeper and the Squirrel-Popper grabbing votes from both ends of the spectrum.

I will not vote McCain in general election. I would rather have Hillary or Obama. At least dems would get the blame.

Remember, McCain was close switching to dems in 2000. He was also one option for Kerry’s VP slot in 2004. He wants Amnesty for illegals and his SC pick would surely be pre-approved by Ted Kennedy. It does not matter who is his VP attending foreign funerals. McCain sets the policy.

Fred and Huckabee are finished. It is McCain, Romney, or maybe Guliani. Take your pick.

With Hillary they will be told to pound sand

McCain isnt all that better. He will pick pro-abort judges and he's bought into the evirowacko agenda, and amnesty and so on.

People will just have to put their anti-North animus aside, for the sake of the children.

Mitt’s religion is brought up by people who can’t stomach the idea that their brand of idealogue isn’t going to win. He’s a country club Republican more than anything else. But, since the economy is going to be a huge thing going forward I’d rather that than Bush’s rebate scams designed to bribe the ignorant.

It is a dead heat between Romney, McCain, Huckabee and Giuliani

Voter turnout will be critical for any of these candidates to win.

All are in a statistical tie as of now.

Rudy has been running TV ads for the last two weeks so his numbers should go up, McCain winning in SC should help his numbers

I see this race splitting into two tiers: Guiliani and McCain moving ahead and Romeny and Huckabee dropping down and fighting it out for third.

Rudy or McCain winning is not good

With Super Tuesday yet to cccur, anyone using the term ‘’decisive lead’’ A) has forfeited all credibility, and B) is delusional, possibly beyond cure.

That's the essence of it - I won't vote for McCain either. Would anyone here vote for Chuck Hagel or Olympia Snowe just because they had an (R) next to their names?

Romney is the most likely GOP nominee at this point. It’s an inevitable result of the insistence of the Rinos/independents on McCain, and the insistence of the evangelicals on Huckabee.

Romney: 66 delegates
Needed to win: 1191 delegates
That's not decisive, that's about 5%.

Even your total did not count Iowa correctly.

More importantly: on 2/5, when before most vote I believe that with wins in Hawaii, Florida, and Maine, that Giuliani will be ahead of Romney.

BTW, using the numbers I have
ROM 65
MCC 41
HUC 28
THO 10
PAU 08
GIU 03

They just had an interview on CNN and they were saying that only thirty percent of McCain voters in SC called themselves Republicans most called themselves independents. In Florida only Republicans get to vote.

Romney has been organizing for a long time in Florida. He has many high powered endorsements and illegal immigration is a big deal here. He said today that he is going to stay in Florida for the next ten days. He knows what he is doing and he is going to make a stand in Florida like he did in Michigan. He knows when to fight and when to back off. I think he has unsheathed his sword and thrown away the scabbard.

Rudy was slipping even before he got started, this is where he will take out McCain and the rest will fall Super tuesday.

Not true . Flip Romney’s record on guns is very questionable and far worse than McPain’s . Why don’t you have a look and compare ....
