Ok, here’s two more famous quotes from the movies:

Orson Welles said one word in Citizen Cane in his death scene: “Rosebud.” The meaning of the word in the movie has been debated for years.

From the great film, The Wizard of Oz (1939) one of its most famous lines is spoken by Judy Garland (as Dorothy Gale) to her dog: “Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.”

From Rosebud to Ruby Red Slippers.....great combo, Flaglady. You nailed a couple of really unforgettable quotes.

I think a commonly accepted meaning to "Rosebud" which Citizen Kane whispered while dying was that it was the name of his little sled that he is remembering from his happier youth.

Your potent entry is duly inscribed in the The Book of Memorable Movie Moments where it will be judged by the Great Ozma herself aka Louella Parsons, hostess of this contest.

Thanks for participating for the benefit of FR!
