As this article relates and we have discussed many times here at FR the simplicity of a road trip with a bic lighter or even an installed cigarette lighter in the vehicle is just too easy and too destructive. Shoot these SOB’s on site when discovered setting such a fire.

Some of the biggest brush fires in recent years have, indeed, been caused by arson, including the 1993 Malibu fire and the one that caused so much devastation in the Santa Ana Mountains last November. And whether or not they were “terrorized,” tens of thousands of people, nonetheless, had to flee from the fires that burned through San Diego County last fall.
Yeah, that goes on every year here. No big surprise to anyone. Like tornadoes, and ice storms in the Midwest. It’s quite common. Most are not started by arson.
I recall one of the more recent fires were stated by two teenagers from Illinois while they were here vacationing, when they lit the Hollywood Hills on fire allegedly with fireworks.

Intel agents uncover plot for worldwide disaster
LONDON — Documents recovered from a remote area along the Pakistan border have revealed that Osama bin Laden wants al-Qaida to launch a “global fireball” by lighting forest fires in Europe, the United States, Australia and South America, according to a report from Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.
The documents were uncovered during an operation led by the British intelligence service MI6, and now have been described by experts in that agency as “the most worrying [plot] that the world is facing.”
