This actually might be good news for Rudy because it means that he’s not as much of a RINO as McInsane.

He isn't. I'm willing to cut Rudy a little slack because he governed a hopelessly liberal constituency. Ditto for Mitt.

McCain and Huckabee have no such excuse because they represented conservative constituencies and delighted in tinkling on them.

Rudy might actually make a decent AG because he knows exactly what games liberal judges play and how to counter them.

While I am hoping for a conservative (Fred or Mitt), Rudy has at least accomplished things McCain could only dream of.

If anyone ever spent time in NYC during the General Dinkens era and then after Rudy had been mayor for a while, you know the difference. Gotta give Rudy a lot of credit for making a then hopeless city cleaner, safer and worth spending time in.
