Tell that to the ones who lost those jobs and votes.
Tell that to their families, who also vote.

There’s an easy response to that one. You can say, with equal correctness, that the people who got to keep their jobs and their families are very grateful. Remember, when a company goes under, EVERYBODY gets fired. Then you can smack the lib on the backswing by saying “look how pessimistic they are - they focus on the negative, and not the positive”
