Smaller government? Check.
Abortion? Check.
Lower taxes and less regulation? Check and check.
Closed border/sane immigration policy? Check.
About the only things I really disagree with Paul on all revolve around the War on Terror. This has been a huge issue for me and I considered it a "deal killer" as far as supporting Ron. I have read too much of him over the years to let the "news letter" thing from the mid-90's dissuade me on those grounds. There's no "fire" where that "smoke" looks like it's coming from.
I just don't think the guy could get the job done. I don't know. I know none of the others still in the race have a chance of interesting the "Base". If anything, they'll alienate the base and hand the whole thing to Hillary or Obama without much of a fight...
