Newbie agreements mean nothing.
You are clearly as has been previously stated elsewhere om another thread a shill.
These attacks are complete distortions.
I'm betting this is a Hillary or Obama shill. No conservative would back McCain. Only a dem or an "independent" would vote for him in the primary.
McCain is the last, best hope of the democrat party.
Do you have any idea how many more babies will be murdered if Hillary becomes your president?
Hillary is certain to appoint judges (at all levels) that will overturn current and future state anti-abortion laws.
If Hillary wins, because you worked against her opponent, YOU will have baby blood on your hands.
And, now to a more current issue.
Perhaps a definition of poking a hornets' nest with a stick is to make a nonsensical accusation toward Ann Coulter.
You deserve everything she will cleverly write about how pathetic a poser you are.
Is there a link to the place where this is proven as alleged?
I am dubious that as Governor Romney actually had power and used it to promote abortion in Massachusetts.
i am with you....for this particular election, abortion is not the priority.
i feel that his pro-life stand is genuine...he likely had to take a pro-choice stand to get the vote before..
not that i condone such tactics but he is vocally standing for pro-life now and i like his other positions.
We have a serious problem in the Republican party...
We have Rudy Guliani...pro choice but losing ground (good)
Mitt Romney...pro choice but changed to pro-life...yes, Reagan also changed his mind as did Poppa Bush when confronted with realities of abortion, but Romney is doing this late in his career which makes his change suspect.
John McCain...yes he is pro life YET when it came to standing up for life or standing up for his pet project, Campaign Finance (he wrote a brief against Wisconsin RTL about ads ) he sided with CFR.
Huckabee..decidedly pro-life but in every other way unacceptable...and his nomination will ensure a Hillary win
As I said...we’re in a mess
Few reasonable and decent human beings believe that a woman should be forced to bear the child of a rapist. It’s simply a continuation and aggravation of that horrible, horrible crime. Even those who believe a rape victim should be forced to bear the child to term must admit, if they are honest with themselves, that their conviction on that point troubles them greatly. Romney is on the right side of this sad and tragic issue.
Romney exemplified true integrity when he apologized for his past abortion statements, and admitted he was wrong.
If he had refused to admit he was wrong, THAT’s when you should wonder if he had really changed.
But when someone admits to a past mistake, that shows the type of courage that is unusual for a politician.
That just one reason that many, like myself, are so enthusiastic about Mitt.
“I am certain he is genuine about his conservative beliefs,” Rush Limbaugh said this week.
Romney is a wholesome family man who truly exemplifies integrity, intelligence, and business saavy.
Thank you for Post #19. Wow!! You set the record straight! Some RTL groups think that the birth control pill is murder and using a condom should be illegal.
BTW - Everyone should go see the movie “Juno”. I loved that movie and it is pro life in the real world.
Jim Robinson, you have been had.
Sombody’s being had all right, but it ain’t me. Remove your blinders.
Like him saying over and over that the court was the reason that MA now has $50 abortion co-pays? The court only ordered MEDICALLY NECESSARY abortion!
See the difference?
This is news to me but I am not at all surprised.
He is a gifted liar.
You are quite transparent, Newbie.
Again.
Nother day, nother lie.
There you go again.
Attacking the messenger when you don’t like the facts.
AND THERE IT IS, folks.
I LOVE a RINO hunt during primaries, especially in POTUS primaries. But there will come a day, specifically the day after the GOP convention, when every conservative will have to wake up on that morning, open their paper, look in the mirror, and decide RIGHT THEN AND THERE, whether or not ideological purity is more noble and principled than gift-wrapping both houses of Congress, with a veto-proof majority mind you, AND the White House, to a gang of cheese-eating, socialist surrender-monkeys.
This is not the time for "I'm taking my ball and going home." The Left CANNOT BE TRUSTED with unfettered control of the government. Then again, the GOP couldn't either. HAOWEVUH:
The Devil we know is better than the She-Devil we've known all to well.
John McCain is a patriot, and has given more in the service of his country as a member of its armed forces than practically anyone in elected office. I respect him as a warrior unconditionally.
But he is the the most distasteful sort of politician: a contrarian populist opportunist, who seems to delight in courting the favor of a mainstream media that will desert him the second a democrat nominee is chosen, over the Base of his own party.
Of all his transgressions, the Gang of 14 irks the most. It could be argued that he put collegiality, consensus, and compromise, above interpretation of Senate tradition, but in the end, he decided that an unconstitutional interpretation of the advise and consent clause of the Constitution, trumped party loyalty in favor of personal power.
Of McCain-Feingold, I will say only this: You do not abridge the First Amendment, and get my vote in a primary. To this day, I am STUPIFIED, that the SCOTUS upheld this poop and missed the first 5 words of the first amendmant: "CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW...." JESUS WEPT.
I guess the point of this screed is that we're gonna have to hold our collective noses and vote for this hack. We CANNOT ALLOW The Left to control. There will be NO END to the mischief they will cause.
2+2=4, but that fact doesn’t mean Romney is pro-abortion.
