“The evidence is indisputable: Mitt Romney is lying to get Christian votes”

I agree

Jeez, is RTL shooting itself in the foot? Is Romney worse than McCain or Huckabee? Is Mitt worse than Hillary?

Now that Thompson has bowed out, I’m looking at Romney. Between now and February 5th, I’ll make a decision about my primary vote.

There’s no one else on the Republican ticket I can even consider. BTW, any word on why Hunter came out with his endorsement of Romney? I’m wondering if he waited for Thompson’s decision to change his plans.

This is such “look at me” BS from the “nothing matters but abortion” crowd.

I am intellectually interested in what Ann has to say. And after that, I would like to see her. She is fascinating to me.

Except for Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson, the choices only include RINO's. Frankly, DH and FT are no longer in the game, practically and physically.

So, my fellow conservatives, do we hold our noses and close our eyes at the ballot box and check mark a RINO, or do we "show 'em"" like we did with Congress? Even with RINO neocon Bush as POTUS, we see a few victories emerge. How many will escape the veto pen of her heinous?

Last I heard, Hunter endorsed Huckabee:

“I got to know Governor Huckabee well on the campaign trail,” said Hunter. “Of the remaining candidates I feel that he is strongly committed to strengthening national defense, constructing the border fence and meeting the challenge of China’s emergence as a military superpower that is taking large portions of America‚s industrial base.”

“Along with these issues of national security, border enforcement and protecting the U.S. industrial base, I see another quality of Mike Huckabee’s candidacy that compels my endorsement. Mike Huckabee is a man of outstanding character and integrity. I saw that character over the last year of campaigning and was greatly impressed. The other Republican candidates have many strengths and I wish them all well. My personal choice is Mike Huckabee,” Hunter concluded.

Oops! You're right. A doctor's visit and errands in between threads can make one forgetful.

Yeah, I was just reminded. A doctor's visit & errands between threads can make a guy forgetful.

Still, I find it curious he comes out with this shortly after Fred drops out. There's probably nothing to it but, well, it's curious. I just thought he perhaps may have waited to see whether Fred would stay in..or not.

So let’s face it: if Romney becomes president or not, what could he do about abortion one way or another . I believe Congress as a group has to do something :(and or the Supreme Court). McCain says he is against abortion but what has he done to fight it? Nothing that we know of. I’m against abortion but not going to base the whole presidency on that one issue.

While I’m 100% pro life the fact of that matter is that we also have an obligation to protect the born as well as the unborn.

Realistically, there isn't all that much a President can do about abortion except appoint conservative judges

The bottom line is, come November we may have a choice between somebody who is soft on opposing abortion, versus somebody who wants to make abortion a sacrament.

Speaking for myself, I'm regarded as radical right-wing conservative by my friends, but abortion is not my main hot button. The 2nd Amendment, immigration, the war against the Global Jihad -- these are all much higher on my priority list.

American Right to Life is an extremist organization that falsely claims on its website that National Right to Life supports a “strategy of child-killing regulations.” It has little to no credibility in the pro-life movement. James Bopp and Jay Sekulow are the two most well known attorneys in the national fight to oppose abortion on demand. They both support Mitt Romney.
