Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Mike Duncan believes Republicans can beat either of the two top Democrats racing for their partys nomination.
For Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.), Duncan says it comes down to trust. Sen. Barack Obamas (Ill.) weakness, on the other hand, is his experience, according to Duncan.
Duncan continually brought up Clinton and Obama during a Wednesday morning breakfast with reporters sponsored by The Christian Science Monitor. Pointing to internal poll numbers, the RNC chairman repeatedly insisted that no matter who Republicans nominate, the Democratic candidate can be defeated in November.

Nothing to see here folks, move along, move along....
Mr. Rove put the phone down and step off into the night. Your time is over. Your abilities have faded and you are now less useful than teats on a boar hog.
This ole boy is trying to thread a limp noodle through the eye of a needle.

I hate to say it but the only Republican I know of that I would vote for is Rush Limbaugh. And he ain’t interested.
“I hate to say it but the only Republican I know of that I would vote for is Rush Limbaugh.”
Can you imagine the moonbat meltdown if he did run.
We only lose if we get too many “my guy lost, so I’m staying home to teach the GOP a lesson”...Get over that your guy lost, and vote for the Republican that gets the nomination. Then after this year, we need to project a good conservative for 2012...
touché
Rush is a Conservative not necessarily a Republican. He had quite a long monologue about it the other day. He may vote for Republicans but he takes offense at the label. I personally never did feel that way (I was a proud Republican)... my past posts will prove it...but I agree with Rush now.

“Well, first lets have candidates that arent frickin RINOs....”
Would be nice. But of the candidates left, it is wise to choose one whom can beat Hillary or Obama in the general election. I believe that Republican nominee to be Mitt Romney. Notice he made no mention of Mitt Romney, the one who is LESS of a RINO.
I agree, staying home is not an option.
This was a fairly predictable thread...
I got a letter looking up at me from the Republican Party...haven’t decided if I should just feed it straight into the shredder.
I would vote as well, but the “Silent majority” has gotten pretty comfy under GWB, perhaps they have forgotten what the 90’s were like even when we controlled the Congress and Slick Willy was CINC.
That and to be honest, the GOP no longer puts in the work either in Congressional Districts, one volunteer at a time, or up in DC, they still don’t really seem to understand what motivates “us”.
Boehner has at least begun to rebuild us.
It could be your free “Stop Hillary” fold out poster.
These are the guidelines by which Reagan lived and governed. Early in his career Reagan made some mistakes by trusting liberals... abortion legislation he signed into law while Governor of California is an example... and he learned early in his first administration that liberals could never be trusted. Tip O'Neil screwed him over by lying about promised spending cuts to offset new taxes Reagan signed in favor of. Reagan learned this important lesson about the honesty and integrity of liberals... but far too many in the Republican Party are blind to the liberalism that they embrace as Conservatism. They cannot see the forest for the trees.

Give me a break.
Well, it's a good thing our RINO corps of candidates are so trustworthy, so America can fully appreciate the distinction...
yeah ... I would be nice to have a candidate to vote for instead of voting against.
Yipppeeee!
Call me a puppet on a string, but...that is an easy button to push.
I drove through Concord, MA (Cradle of Liberty...PAH! What it has become...) this morning on my way to work. There were about 5-7 people with Hillary signs.
Women I expect. There are some women out there (umm...Gennifer Flowers for a stomach-turning example?) who would vote for Hillary because...she is a woman.
But there were three guys out there. What is that? I was completely flummoxed...how high up do you have to get snipped to hold a sign for Hillary?
That was just disturbing.
