In Californis we don’t know how to handle tornados. We much prefer earthquakes.
I’m waiting for the time that we have an earthquake, tsunami, tornado and wildfires on the same day, along with a border fence collapse.
Yup - I’m in California, and we get tornados too... About 10 years ago one was in Long Beach not far from me. It took off the roof of a supermarket... But we don’t have the kind of thing one sees in Kansas or Oklahoma... We still cede the championship to them....
BTW - The Supermarket was a “Lucky”. It was lucky to survive the tornado, and was repaired, but was unLucky as it was taken over by the Albertson’s chain... I was in that market just last week and 10 years out, no sign of any tornado aftermath.
