No, they’re betting that they’ll get a pass as usual from the media and the public when they say “Hey, we got our pictures taken with lots o’ people, was that Rezko? Really? Ya don’t say?!!?”

It’s the public they think is stupid. They think that if they repeat “we don’t recall” enough times, the public will believe them
Sadly, sometimes they are right.
