Carol Costellos report on Thursdays "The Situation Room" would have you believe that Rush Limbaugh and conservative talk radio have "lost influence," HAHAHAHA! Right.
Hey Rush, start talking up Obama and Edwards on your show. We will see just how FAST you get a call from the beast.

I thought the big concern 6 months ago was the power of conservative talk radio and how we need the Fairness Doctrine back. Now we don’t because their power is diminishing? Make up your mind Libs.

Comment:
This CNN story smells of Dan Rather.

McPain’s “success” is a sign of how pathetic the Republican line-up is.

If Hillary would become President, Rush Limbaugh would then become The Most Powerful Man on the Planet (and he knows it).

OOPS!

I have to say, if they were too darned influential, Duncan Hunter would already be president instead we are left sifting through who is the least socialist. So apparently the old media is not quite as dead as we thought.

I do think that talk radio has lost a wee bit of influence. A lot of talk radio hosts became apologists for the Republicans who stopped acting like conservatives.

What a joke! CNN has world wide viewer ship and is far behind Fox news, which has only a fraction of the viewers of CNN. Talk about a loss of influence, CNN has not only lost what little it has, it also has lost most if not all of it’s credibility.
CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, all of them, are too stupid to understand that no one trusts them, no one believes them. As long as they believe the whole world thinks as they do, except for those evil, low educated Republicans, then they will eventually believe themselves out of business.

If Rush Limbaugh and conservative talk radio had soooooo much influence on how people vote - Bill Clinton whould of never been elected President. And Twice.

Despite McCain’s victories in two states(and ignoring his losses in Iowa, Wyoming, Michigan, and Nevada), even in the states he won about 2/3 of the voters, and an even higher percentage of REPUBLICAN VOTERS wanted someone else. How you spin that into a repudation of talk radio is beyond me.

Talk Radio’s “power” isn’t diminishing it is more a reflection of the fragmentation of Republicans. Huckabee is tanking finally, Rudy is tanking, Fred is out, and the upcoming primaries don’t have the independent vote to inflate McCain.
