Hillary Demands DNC Seat Michigan/Florida Delegates At Convention! (Here it COMES!)
Hillary For President ^ | 1-25-08 | TCRLAF

Posted on 01/25/2008 11:14:11 AM PST by tcrlaf

"I hear all the time from people in Florida and Michigan that they want their voices heard in selecting the Democratic nominee.

"I believe our nominee will need the enthusiastic support of Democrats in these states to win the general election, and so I will ask my Democratic convention delegates to support seating the delegations from Florida and Michigan. I know not all of my delegates will do so and I fully respect that decision. But I hope to be President of all 50 states and U.S. territories, and that we have all 50 states represented and counted at the Democratic convention.

"I hope my fellow potential nominees will join me in this.

"I will of course be following the no-campaigning pledge that I signed, and expect others will as well."

Bill is furthering trashing the image of how an ex-president should behave. Horrible.

Along with Jimmah we have a new low standard for Dem ex-presidents.

I’m surprised she isn’t suing to have them seated.

I'm sure she's got a crew of law clerks researching now, desperately seeking a statute to file it under. She'll find one by the end of next week.

If the gop nominee picks an African-american like Watts, Dr. Rice, Steele, the nominee might get 20% of the black vote.

The GOP nominee may not get them, but Hillary's lost a whole bunch of the black vote already. I work with several black liberals who once wanted Clinton and Obama to team up, in either order, but now detest her.

And if the DNC does not give in to her, there will be quite a spectacle on the floor of the convention when delegates riot and demand to be allowed to vote.

If Howard Dean let them into the Convention Center at all, that might happen. Let's see if he's got the stones to block them at the door.

McCain would be as effective with amnesty as Bush has been.

This seems odd to me. The goal of the DNC is to garner as many illegal votes as possible, wherever they can be made up, manufactured or double-counted. Such deliberate “disenfranchsement” must doubtless make Democrats everywhere lose sleep at night.

Doubtless.

Look for a credible third party conservative candidate to syphon the votes

Have you ever heard of Jerry Curry? He was on Fox this morning. I don't know about credible.

The Clintons are the gift that keeps on giving. They are going to absolutely destroy the Democrat party to win. African Americans are going to see this as cheating. I’m enjoying the show myself. We should write Obama to encourage him. :-)

Obama needs to do exactly what he is doing. He needs to keeping hitting Hillary using Bill as a club. Bill Clinton is going to be the reason why Hillary doesn’t win the nomination.
If she doesn’t win I fully expect her to divorce him.

But hold on. CNN published, last October 9, the following:

The Clinton campaign said she will not withdraw from the Michigan ballot because it is unnecessary to do so.

The Biden campaign criticized Clinton and Dodd for not taking their names off the ballot.

"The Dodd and Clinton campaigns have chosen to hedge their bets, thereby throwing this process into further disarray," Biden campaign manager Navarro said. "In doing so, they have abandoned Democrats in Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire and South Carolina."

CNN's Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider suggested the Democrats who withdrew may have calculated that it was simply in their best political interest to do so.

"If there's no campaign, the candidate most likely to win Michigan is Hillary Clinton," Schneider said. "Her Democratic rivals don't want a Clinton victory in Michigan to count. They want Iowa and New Hampshire, where they have a better chance of stopping Clinton, to count more."

But Clinton may also benefit from staying and winning even a non-competitive primary, Schneider said.

"It will earn her a lot of good will in Michigan if the state schedules a later caucus to pick its delegates," he said.

The DNC voted to punish both Michigan and Florida by refusing to seat their delegates at next summer's Democratic National Convention.

Which way did it go?

It’s a shame the GOP has chosen such a miserable failure like John McCain to defeat Hillary. It makes me sick to my stomach every time I think about it.

"If they get back into the White House, I’m just going to operate under the assumption that we’re being punished by The Almighty."

In fact the Almighty does punish nations by allowing corrupt, traitorous and cruel leaders to rule over the people.

This should be fun to watch — intra-party fighting amongst the Dems.
