Thank you so much, your vanilla was wonderful though I found some locally it was not as good as the one you sent me so I really look forward to receiving it. We get 4 days off at Easter the Friday and Monday plus of course the weekend so I will put it away for then.

Why for men only? Is it in the shape of a girl? Does it contain trace amounts of testosterone? What IS the deal?

Advertising ploy so much chocolate is advertised with women in mind. So following the Mars advertising of showing workmen such as builder or road repairers etc eating it as part of the daily lunch box, the Yorkie advertising concentrated in the early days of the truck driver image.

Following that coming up to date this is the latest one.

Here is one of the early ones

Laura Ingraham sat in for O’Reilly and had Peggy Noonan as a guest. I ‘turned off’ to Noonan a while ago, so wasn’t too happy to see her but then Laura and Peggy began their bashing of our President....I literally turned off that station. At one time, I liked Laura but, lately, seems she just likes to her HERSELF talk.....she often interrupts and speaks over others ...very annoying.
Think I’ll email O’Reilly to bring back Michelle Malkin as his substitute host...imho, Michelle is MUCH better than Laura.

DrDeb, thanks for the alert on the TV Specials on President Bush and his Mom. I always share these alerts with the ladies in my Repub women’s club.

When I make a pot, I use 3 scoops of regular coffee and one scoop of the Vanilla Nut. It is sooooo good.

When I open up the canister of vanilla nut, I smell German Chocolate cake. It is GREAT. And, by using 1 scoop per pot, it lasts awhile.

hmmmm, I actually enjoyed Peggy Noonan. I thought she made a lot of sense. I won’t discuss here, tho. Violates the rules, probably.

You liked Noonan’s savaging of our President?! hmmmmmmmmmmmm . . .
-
-

“THE BATTLE FOR THE MIND OF RONALD REAGAN WAS LIKE THE TRENCH WARFARE OF WORLD WAR I: NEVER HAVE SO MANY FOUGHT SO HARD FOR SUCH BARREN TERRAIN” Peggy Noonan

I suppose GWB should consider himself lucky that Noonan merely accuses him of destroying the Republican Party — unlike, of course, the conservative elitists/propagandists who insist that Ronald Reagan was a ‘conservative’ purist (he was actually a REPUBLICAN pragmatist) for the express purpose of destroying ALL current Republicans (including our President).

[And don’t even get me started on Ingraham . . . I tuned her out and turned her off months ago.]

I didn’t think of it as savaging. There are so many things to appreciate about the President and I take pleasure in doing so, but the SOTU address was definately not smaller government talk.

Please know that I do not pay close attention to everyone who speaks in the public arena - the Peggy Noonan’s of this world. I’m not familiar with her work in the least, which puts me at a disadvantage. I love to be in the political environment which is FreeRepublic, but I am a learner not a teacher or a maven, by any means. I was just saying that I connected with her on the TV snippit I saw.

No huge crime there.

I think we’re using Yuban now. BTW, I picked up a can of the Hawaiian Hazelnut today to send as well. Is that good, or do you prefer 2 of the Vanilla nut?

Anything else I can send with my package? Candy? Cookies?

I would also love to try some American cinnamon as I am told this is different to what I buy in England and therefore would suit American type recipes.

REally? Just plain ole cinnamon? You’re not talking about a cinnamon coffee, right? I’ve not heard of that, so you must be talking about cinnamon. And you’ve got it.

Yep just plain ole cinnamon I am sure which way it is but one is sweeter than the other.

I think it maybe European cinnamon is sweeter though I may have this wrong, I say this because a lot of recipes you put cinnamon in we put nutmeg and our cinnamon does not taste right in the recipe, so I fancied trying yours to see the difference.
