Outback Steakhouse Fed a Thousand Military Folks Today
Today

Outback Steakhouse came to our Base today and fed 1,000 folks from several branches of the Military a GREAT meal today. It was all donated and Outback Steakhouse employees cooked and served. It was such a wonderful treat, I just had to publicly thank them.
We had steak and baked potatoes, green beans, pasta, bread, salad and either cheesecake or a chocolate brownie.
Can't tell you much we appreciated this gesture for us military folks here at home!

That is a great idea. Thank you for that reminder...I would have never thought to do that...sadly. I am going to do that right now.

Where is your base? Or is it at some super-secret location?
No. I guess it couldn't be at some super-secret location or the people from Outback couldn't have found it.

26 Jan is Australia Day which celebrates the arrival of the First Fleet and the founding of British settlement in 1788.
That might have something to do with the timing.

Hooah. Now let's do the troops a favor and make sure that they have a decent commander-in-chief...say no to Hussein Obama, Hildabeast, Romney and Huckabee.

Alas, as we have no indoor track and the snow and ice creates a bit of a safety hazard this time of year, PT tests are on hold til spring. Sigh, such a shame. :-)

My wife and I are a long way from home, but Selfridge is about 100 miles from where her parents live. We are stationed in Spain.
