“Medical” marijuana isn’t a prescription.

I agree, let's overdose on Oxycontin instead.

I wonder if the machine will dispense medical Cheetos and Snickers too.

But isn’t most of California a smoke free zone? Where would someone be allowed to smoke medical marijuana?

They probably make you smoke it inside your home.

Its a crying shame you can't smoke a legal substance in a bar or restaurant.

I would like to put a half dozen snack machines in next to one.

...with nothing but Doritos Nacho Cheese chips in them.

Seriously though: I have lived for this day.

Jesus can take me now. I have gone to heaven.

I’m imagining a “patient” plunking nickels and dimes into the machine for an hour then coming up five cents short on a $300 dollar ounce.

Oh, now, hey, this is the ZENITH of brilliance; the very apex of human intellect!

Everywhere they install one of these machines will instantly become a “hot” zone for robbery. Why go roll old ladies heading back from cashing their welfare checks when you can stake out the local pot machine and have a steady stream of cash-rich targets marching right up to you all day?

Oh, so then they’ll say, “No problem. We’ll install a security camera to watch the pot machine so we can catch anybody who messes with the customers.” Just one problem with that: the camera might discourage muggings, but it’ll discourage customers even more. Who wants their strung out mug captured on video buying a fresh bag when that video could easily get snagged by the DEA?

As it is, you just know that people using these machines are going to be looking around for Allen Funt hanging out the door of a black helicopter.

There’s obviously stellar intelligence behind this.
