New York Times ^ | 01/27/2008 | Caroline Kennedy

Posted on 01/26/2008 6:44:42 PM PST by steadcom

OVER the years, I’ve been deeply moved by the people who’ve told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama...

Exactly correct.

Time for the Kennedy “mafia” to rise in opposition to the Clinton “mafia” (though I do not put JFK Jr in the Kennedy mafia category - he never was “one of them” in full).

Wow - great collection to go after Obama with if he becomes the nominee.

Any of the Dem potential Nominees will destroy this country if they become President.

How do we know? Because EVERY Dem in power ANYWHERE in this country has destroyed (in some way) the states/cities / Congress - Senate / where they have had power.

It’s happening locally here - Dem controlled city council - and next door - Dem mayor. Then our State (NC) - controlled by Dems in Exec branch and in Legislature....taxing us to the hilt, robbing our roads fund, now ready to put in toll roads.....while our horrible roads continue to deteriorate ....just one small example of how EVERY locale is destroyed, in one way or another, when Dems are in power. It follows as night follows day. They remain in power ONLY because they PAY OFF their heavy donors handsomely and certain populations continue to vote Democrat because the MSM ignores the destruction and/or because “they have always voted Democrat”.

That is what will eventually destroy this country.

Yes, JFK Jr. was one of the good guys. And the evil guys got him.

Agreed. How different would things be today had JFK Jr had lived to contest Hitlery’s seizure of power in New York - and her attempt to do so now in the Presidency?

God’s justice does not sleep forever.....

says that, among other things, the senior democrat officeholders don’t want clinton in power another 4/8 years.

Look no offense to Obama but Hillary had him pinned at the last debate. The man has accomplished very little and his only attribute is that he can speak well.

Thank you for your wise words. This thread contains many posts that really seem beneath FReepers. It’s too bad.

Thanks.

The Clinton mafia/thugs/agents knew that JFK Jr had to be removed from her path to power.

And as we see now....she is moving steadily toward that goal despite the Obama bump in the road.....

Elections/primaries - are so ....so....bothersome to Queen Hillary and her goon squad.... This utter rejection by the Dems in SC and by certain leading Dems will be overcome - but will NOT be forgotten.

Well turning in for the night. Blessings to you and to all who have stood up to Her Heinous and have said - no more!

We have a damn good speaker in our party. His name is Rudy Giuliani. Rudy is a candidate I could live with, and a president I could be proud of. I disagree with him on some issues, but he is the only candidate I respect as a man and a leader. He loves this country and will give hell to the islamofascists!

It tells us that there's room for only one Royal Family in this country.....and it ain't the Clintons and it ain't the Bushes.....it's the Kennedys.....

Can't really say I wouldn't do the same in Caroline's case. Bill's big dream since meeting JFK was to be like the Kennedys. The second coming of Camelot.

LOL. The Klamptons go to Washington.

“Obama’s malleable, into whatever Kerry-Kennedy wants him to be.”

I think not. Neither Kerry nor Kennedy have the brains to influence Obama, who is simply smarter than they are. Here are the names of three public figures who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Law School:
Chief Justice John Roberts
Governor Mitt Romney
Senator Barack Obama
They were all in the top 10% of the class.

Seems to me like the real message here is that the Democrat party is being ripped apart at the seems.

We don’t need to evaluate Obama vs Kennedy. The important thing is that Clinton is getting spears in the back from what is generally considered the democrat home team.

I don’t like Obama, but I don’t consider him to have maniacally evil intent.

At least what he does will be done trying to help this nation. He’ll be a long ways off base, but Hillary would be farther off base and doing it just to kill our founding principles and the U.S.

Caroline, I appreciate you anouncing your support for Obama. Excellent!

Obama is an excellent speaker. However, what do we know about him other than he is for “change”. He has no experience other then a few years in state legislature and a few years as US Senator. Yet, millions of people are willing to vote him into office as our president.

He is the Manchurian candidate. It's creepy.

“The torch has been passed” to a new generation...who will NOT “pay any price, bear ay burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and success of liberty”.

Ask “what your country can do for you”, not “what you can do for your country”.

The message from Obama is the opposite of what JFK said - even though the delivery is as riveting.
