And we'll go for an ornery, 80-something guy who looks about 90 and repeatedly tried with Ted Kennedy Obviously you won't. But it's the independents who are going to be turned off on Romney.

Dear Perfect Lady, As a fellow FredHead, I cordially invite you to join your teammates that have headed over to the Mitt Romney camp.

MYTH will be destroyed by the left if he gets the nomination. On what basis? For not being conservative enough?
They want to run against WILLARD for sure
I have seen no evidence of this. What makes you think this is true?
To: Rome2000
If that is true then they should of been supporting FRed or Ron Paul - God forbid.

Yes and his tendency to wander when speaking and the occasional gaff. Obama will eat him alive in a debate.

Romney is an empty suit. Mitt Romney is a highly accomplished man. He has his shortcomings as a candidate, and in particular as a conservative candidate, but it is just silly to call him an empty suit given his stellar academic credentials and his long record of accomplishment.

Another WELCOME endorsement of Mitt.

He has his shortcomings as a candidate Yes, he does. Big ones.
This is why I term him an "empty suit" as a Presidential candidate.
He may fill the suit as a Wall Street CEO, but for President and CIC he falls pitifully short.

I’m voting for McInsane here in Fl.this afternoon.

lolol you are silly. polls are a snap shot. Romney is going to carry Florida. Did you see the “redneck for mitt” pic yesterday, good old florida boys with their kids and their sign posing with Mitt. And he has passed mccain, 76 to 68% on the national front.
I am glad you get to vote for the one you want and I don’t begrudge you. But i think Mitt will beat McCain in Florida by as much as he did in Michigan.

Way to go Captain Ed (my favorite blogspot). One of my favorites, too. This may not be a huge endorsement in terms of the dinosaur media, but Captain Ed is pretty well regarded in the blogosphere. A good endorsement for Mitt!

And if true, a note to FDT: Still ain't votin' for him...
Though if Romney were to win and govern as a conservative, I'd be the happiest woman on the planet to be proven wrong about the guy.

It could just be whomever saw the CNN crawl mistook what it really said. I don’t see any verification of this yet.
