I can think of an even greater scenario than that-—send the mothers of our young troops with their children and watch the whole situation get resolved fast. Mom’s who love their children are fierce fighters when it involves the welfare of their children. Moms who love their children fight for them!

Reminds me of a dismal evening when I was attending the Infantry School at Fort Benning. We had been in the woods for about three days. Me and my bud were sitting under a tree, in the rain, eating our cold c-rations when he turned to me and said: “All this would end immediately if only our mothers could see us now. We would be taking a hot shower and eating hot chow or these tac officers would be dead.”
Exactly! I am a mom of a new Marine. He just got out of boot camp. Tuesday, he reports to his recruiter’s for 21 days of Recruiter’s Assistance Duty. Then to Pendleton for School of Infantry. After that, more school for amphibious assault. I know that my son is a man. But if I were there, I feel sorry for any insurgent that crossed his path, or any other one of our “boys.” I don’t think that their Mama’s taught them manners. Maybe American Mamas need to do so. LOL
