Bill Pleads With Ted, Is Rebuffed

Ouch! Maybe being an ex-president isn't what it used to be. Especially after you've tarnished the image throwing so much South Carolina mud.

“This is the biggest Democratic endorsement Obama could possibly get short of Bill Clinton,” said a high-level Democrat.

The Clinton campaign launched a last-ditch effort over the last few days to stop Kennedy's move, orchestrating a flood of phone calls to Kennedy from sources ranging from union chiefs to his Massachusetts constituents.

The former president also called Kennedy in a vain attempt to keep him out of the race, a source familiar with the conversation said.

During his two terms in the White House, President Clinton made repeated overtures to the Kennedy family. So the senator’s rejection of his wife is at least as embarrassing as her 28-point loss in the South Carolina primary on Saturday.

Wouldn't it be quicker and 'cleaner' for the impeached *Squirt to just endorse Hussein?

Can’t blame a guy for trying!

Truth be told, for myself, if it isn’t Romney (i.e., McCain or Huck) I don’t think Reps can win it and, if they did, it would not really be that much of a difference IMO. So, on that condition, I accept your deal.

Actually, I’m about to. I’m a ‘declined to state’ in California. We can’t vote in the Republican primary, so I’m voting for Obama.... and for precisely the purpose you stated.

I overheard Teddy tell Bill to “put some ice on it”

What would one expect of Uncle Teddy...his nephew was in a non-accidental plane crash. His body was pulled out the of the Atlantic the day he was to announce his run for the NY Senate Seat that PIAPS evidently won. OH MY...

That’s what makes this so sweet to watch. Billyboy still is the outsider, the social climber from Bumf*ck Arkansas. Kennedy is not exactly old money, but the ‘rat party has been his turf for years since before the Snopes’s rolled into town. Teddy has contempt for the likes of a Clinton getting to throw his weight around and acting like a yahoo.

Nope. The Kennedys are demigods in Democrat circles. I think Hillary expected a coronation. She didn’t reckon on Obama and should have way back.

The only question left is when do the trail of bodies start to appear? If I was Teddy, I would not be flying too many planes.

Heh! If I was Bill, I wouldn't be taking any car rides with Teddy.

Hmmmmm...

Noonan says Kennedy would have run for the New York Senate seat won in 2000 by Hillary Clinton. He says Kennedy said of Clinton: "Wait until she gets here. She's gonna get her head handed to her."

I am PRAYING that Bill Clinton mentions Chappaquiddick tomorrow. I am laying 50-50 odds on it—the way Bill has come unhinged of late it may really happen!

There are people who suspect the Clintons might have had a hand in the plane crash by John Kennedy, Jr.

Actually maybe Teddy SHOULD start doing things like, flying planes, strolling though Fort Marcy Park, ya know, just the norm. lol

The Kennedys are demigods in Democrat circles.

True, but The Swimmer is reviled elsewhere, which wouldn't do Hillie much good in the general election. She cares more about the squishy middle since the left wing's already proven they'll grab their ankles and vote for a lib, any lib.

I’m either confused or stupid. Did Kennedy endorse Obama? I read the article and like I said, confused or stupid.

Hmm... Blood relatives to Ma and Pa Clintoon or Chelsea's blood relatives, too? Not that the Hubble's come with that much baggage.
