Isn't it amazing how those politicians that are promoting the need for change in Washington are the same ones that fostered division in the first place.
The politics of division are alive and well in America and they are being brought to you courtesy of the liberals.
In the 2000 election George W Bush ran on the platform of being a uniter someone that would go to Washington and deal with partisan infighting and actually get things done for the American people. So when George W. Bush rightfully won the Electoral College in the 2000 election he was confronted by a disillusioned Democrat party who immediately called him anointed not elected and totally disrespected the office of the POTUS. Divisive?
Then 911 happened and George W. Bush rose to the occasion and polled in the 90 percentile that obviously scared the Democrat party to death and forced them to take drastic measures.
They must find some way to tear down Bush and turn his perceived strengths to weakness lest they lose their party platform for a generation. Enter Michael Moore and the Hollywood crowd. Fahrenheit 911 coupled with conspiracy theories about government complicity in 911 spread like wildfire on the internet and in liberal academia. Divisive?
George Bush’s follow on incursion into Iraq, in an attempt to ensure that America did not face another 911 type attack sponsored by Saddam Hussein, was initially met with acceptance and then the Democrats started to tear it down piece by piece when WMD were not found they called the President Dishonest, and a liar.
When an uprising insurgency started they called it a quagmire and lost war and paralleled it to Vietnam. When a CIA agents name got outed the very one who recommended her husband go on a fact finding mission to determine if Saddam Hussein had sought WMD and was outed by the Press during their investigation into why her husband wrote an article that chastised the Bush Admin arguments about Iraq WMD, it got blown into a huge conspiracy and partisan witch hunt. Divisive?
Every NIE report or Intel report that has been written has met with a partisan parsing of phrases and facts all done by the Democrats in a major divisive way.
Democrats in Congress decide to subvert the Constitution and attempt to mico-manage a war, which they authorized to be waged by the CINC. Congressmen that argue they would not fund the very troops that they sent into harms way and try nuanced responses in order to attempt and divert their responsibility regarding these very troops.
Political theatrics in an attempt to score political points with their base so who is it exactly that is being divisive?
Every departmental nomination has been met with partisan bickering and sniping by the Democrats, judges have not been given up or down votes and their appointments delayed by the Democrats, endless investigations which have revealed nothing in wrong doing and have been a huge waste of taxpayer dollars all of this is divisive politics and all of it has been initiated by one party alone, the Democrats.
So when one man stands up and claims that America is through with the Partisan bickering and divisiveness of Washington D.C. exactly what is he talking about? Barrack Obama's Liberal message is clear if you do not agree with his vision for America than he will simply label you divisive and make it appear that you are the problem.
When you couple this with the Liberal form of Pravda that serves as our media today there you have the core of Progressive Liberalism. There is no room for free thought. If you disagree you are shut down and labeled divisive and out of touch. Sometimes you are even called a Bush supporter. So You must subscribe to the stated position or you are ostracized and called intolerant or divisive.
So if you are a Conservative and his agenda is Liberal then to him, you the Conservative become hateful and intolerant. According to Obama there needs to be a change in political atmosphere a change that does not divide America but one that Unites America. That is a grand agenda but we must ask the purveyor of change exactly what it is he will change because not all change is good change and in these dangerous times some change could cost maybe all of us our very Freedom.
It may be the challenge of Sisyphus,
but I dream of political extinction of the modern democratic party.
They may very well accomplish this themselves, but we still need to push them towards the cliff every chance we get.
