If Bush didn’t approve of water bordering, I would think he wasn’t doing his job. The dems would acuse him of going easy on terrorists also.

On that aspect of the war, Bush has done the right thing and these hearings are a complete farce.

If Bush authorized it, tickling with feathers would be torture to these people. One thing you have to give the lefties, they never stop pounding a lie. The put out the lie and repeat it and repeat it and repeat it. Just to give credit where credit is due, Hitler said he learned this technique from the German Socialist movement. He modeled his party on the German Social Democrat Party. As Jonah Goldberg points out in his new book, “Liberal Fascism”, nazism and fascism were both left-wing movements arising out of socialism. It takes a village to make a lie stick.

Ted Kennedy challenging anybody on anything related to *water* is a travesty. He ought to recuse himself from the committee. Actually he should be in jail for homicide.
