And where was Romney during the Reagan years? Or during the Republican Revolution?
What has Romney done for us?
btw, how many people do you provide a paycheck for?
And when, exactly, did Romeny torpedo us?
Absolutely nothing !
You're far off from the topic of this thread, but if you must ask, I'll give you an answer that will bring you back in line: During the Reagan years or any other year, Romney made no deals to switch from the Republicans to your guy's democrat party. This thread is about how McCain was in serious negotiations to make such a deal.
The problems with Romney ,who governed liberal and now talks conservative, are real. But McCain's open and constant betrayal since 2000 are even worse. He hates the conservative base and has made that clear since he lost the nomination in 2000. That is a significant difference.
Romney he was creating jobs in the private sector something McCain’s disasterous immigration and cap and trade policy’s will destroy
McCain has never created a job and he’s never worked for anyone other than the federal government
he’s damned lucky he didn’t go to prison for his involvement in the Keating 5 and he was an habitual adulterer
and he has a very nasty habit of using foul language toward his own fellow republican senators that disagree with him v on policy
there’s your principled conservative Reagan republican
Romney is spending millions of his own money, has put a hold on his life, so he could run for President on a platform that conservatives would drool over. That’s what he has done for us.
IN response, we have questioned his sincerity, doubted his motives, he has been attacked for making money, castigated for his faith, and ridiculed because he has changed his positions to the right ones.
He should do NOTHING for us. It is not the job of politicians to do “STUFF” for people. I don’t vote for who does the most for me. I vote for who will get out of my way, hold the line socially and change the Constitution and the American Way the least.
A politician the does the least, from a Washington perspective anyway, probably is governing the best.
And yes, I am a former Thompson supporter going to vote for Romney. He’s the best of the worst out their and the one who, if he is nominated and is elected, owes something to conservatives, not Washington insiders and the plethora of lobbyists. Less than the others anyway.
What entitlement program are you on?
