Nope- goes further back, at least to the Korean “action”, likely further.
The probability is that McCain will lose the general election. There are tens of millions of conservaties who will not vote for him. His nomination will probably destroy the Republican Party. And if he actually wins the general election, the destruction of the GOP will be a certainty, since the coalition will be irrevocably split asunder.

McCain is an American hero, he is one that survived, he is one that made it back, he is one that left some of his soul behind, he is one with REAL and up close and personal memories of HELL..... and HE has earned his right, he has bled for the right and he has suffered the real pain, to say any damn thing he wants to about those targets and that hell hole, period.

We vote McCain... we get a maniacal, tax and spend, amnesty supporting, gun grabbing, anti first amendment, war mongering liberal
We vote Huckster... we get a tax and spend, illegal alien defending, bible thumping liberal
They vote in Hitlery... we get a Machiavellian, maniacal, emotionally unstable, man hating, baby killing lesbian, with major PMS... and her finger on the button liberal
They vote in Osama Winfrey... we get a smiling, soft spoken, charismatic, touchy feely, socialist, great society liberal
WE ARE SCREWED.

Yup. Plenty of other reasons to hate his campaign.
And up would come the history of these two 1960’s draft dodging, dope-smoking, anti-military hippies, who sided with Jane Fonda while McCain and his comrades were being tortured, maimed and killed. If Hitlery and Billbo Bumkiss know what’s good for them, they will keep their yaps closed... I know a few Nam vets that would not mind using the two of them for bayonet practice.
He has earned to right to call them whatever he wants. He was tortured by them after all.
But what’s more telling is how unstable he appears to be when confronted with it. That’s what is frightening.
Hillary is going to engineer a meltdown that will either turn him into Dean 2.0, or make him fall over dead from rage.
I almost feel sorry for him.

There’s only a few days left. But we’ve seen bigger liberal fish get fried in fewer days. Here’s what I mean:

This ranks up there with the level of energy in opposition to shamnesty (which McCain sponsored with Ted Kennedy, BTW). I hope we get the “Good-bye McCain” thread on February 5.
I don’t mind McCain calling his former captors gooks. But I don’t mind the topic being brought up. In fact I’d like to see more of this. I want this short fused, angry short man to publically blow up for our viewing pleasure.
