Resolution fights North American Union

A state lawmaker in Utah has introduced a resolution encouraging the U.S. to withdraw from the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America and any other bilateral activity that would move the country toward an EU-style continental merger.

Republican state Rep. Stephen Sandstrom introduced House Resolution 1 to the Utah legislature this week after a similar measure passed the House last year by a 47-24 vote but was blocked by a Senate committee just before the session's close.

"I feel confident we will get this resolution passed this year," Sandstrom told WND. "We learned a lot last year about our opponents, and this year we are better prepared to anticipate their legislative moves to block us."

The resolution reads in part: "The gradual creation of such a North American Union from a merger of the United States, Mexico and Canada would be a direct threat to the United States Constitution and the national independence of the United States and would imply an eventual end to national borders within North America."

In a speech given in Salt Lake City to the Utah Eagle Forum's annual convention Jan. 19, Sandstrom compared the move toward a North American Union to the stealth methodology used by corporate elite to move Europe toward the European Union. The 50-year process began with the European Coal and Steel Agreement in 1957.

"While the newspaper articles and reporters published the sequential events of European integration, most people in the European Community nations thought, 'Ho-hum – no big deal,'" Sandstrom told the Eagle Forum meeting. "As a matter of fact, the Europeans continued to sleep like Gulliver until they were jolted awake when the euro replaced their national currencies."

More evidence that President George W Bush gave us John McCain. Bush did destroy the Republican party and may have done more damage to our sovereignty than Bill Clinton.

President Bush did some good, but on the first and second amendments he has hurt us. On National sovereignty he has been devastating. His spending was terrible. Jimmy Carter, worse or better?

I think it’s a done deal. What The Man wants, the Man gets. It’s all over except the dog and pony shows, phony public meetings, and faux protests. You know, something like all those ‘sustainable development’ environmental treaties.

We cannot and will not tolerate – not without a fight – the tearing down of 232 years of sovereign progress in which American has protected the etched-in-stone, under-God principles that were bequeathed to us by our founding fathers," he concluded.

I see Utah State Rep. Stephen Sandstrom is using the word "Sovereign", a word loathed by the people who hold The Globalist mentality, (ie. Dr. Robert A. Pastor and David Rockefeller.) They both believe that the word Sovereign is out of date with how the world works today. There are hundreds of people (paid employees of their respective governments) at work everyday in Canada, Mexico and the U.S.A. who are furthering the cause of these wretched men, but Americans really don't like looking at what is going around them, god knows no one wants a challenge anymore, and that may just be the undoing of America. No one wants to check the incremental rights that are being taken away from us on a yearly basis, that is a real pity.

Instead of keeping those blinders on where you're all warm and cozy, read some articles on AugustReview.Com someday, that ought to frighten you enough to get into action at least among your friends.

Also, please remember "Globalization" promotes regional and global government, a one-world economic system of trade and a form of fascism where global corporations and their elite control the policies and directives of individual governments. Is that the way you want to leave the world to your kids?

This is a subject that most FReepers do not want to learn about. It is easier to live in denial than believe you have to fight your own governemnt.

That be true. Here's the August Review link:

This group has been fighting globalism longer than anyone that I know and deserves to be supported by all conservatives and patriots. Its founder(s) authored "Tri-laterals Over Washinbton," the early primer on the threat of globalization. I still have the book.
