"I am William Wallace. And I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in defiance of tyranny! You have come to fight as free men. And free man you are! What will you do without freedom? Will you fight?"
Soldier
"Two thousand against ten?" "No! We will run - and live!"
Wallace
"Yes! Fight and you may die. Run and you will live at least awhile. And dying in your bed many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here as young men and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they will never take our freedom!"
My tagline applies.
“The GOP will feel the pinch and they may change their ways, but they will never change their way if they believe they have a monopoly on the conservative vote.”
You are of course, correct. They tried this same BS in ‘06 with the mid-terms. I wonder how many elections they need to lose before they get the idea that the base is pissed off?
I’ve got your back!
I have been scared to death of the supreme court nominations coming up in the next 4 years. But, after reading this, something in my mind clicked. If hillary is elected, and replaces the 2 flaming libs with flaming libs, the court balance will still tilt left, but not as much as in the past. My question is, does anyone know the condition of the 4 conservatives and 1 slightly tilted right judge? If they are healthy and not considering retirement for at least 4 years, I just may join you in the revolution...
We desperately need a viable Conservative Party. Until we get one, the Pubs are all we have.
:^(
Arm yourselves NOW; later may be too late.
Thank you...I am fully aware of mcpain and his stand on the issues, my only issue is the supreme court, and if the current crop of conservative and the swingin’ kennedy are healthy and will stay for the next 4 years, i am in...if not, i cannot allow hillary or obama to nominate replacement judges..if the 2 libs are the only ones that go, then the status quo will work for the next 4 years.....
As they said on SouthPark, these elections always involve choosing between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich.
Imagine President Hellary...with a veto proof majority of RATS...and 3-5 supreme court picks.
Reminder: The defeat of Hellary is the Prime Directive.
I held my nose and voted for Bush as he was the best of the worst, and I held out hope. I still laugh to myself when Rush and others would defend some of his tactics as being so smart even we don’t understand them. The line is drawn with McCain. I will vote 3rd party.
Republicans are not Conservatives. Republicans do what Republicans do. Any Conservative that is a registered Republican is the true RINO!
I think it was Thomas Jefferson who said (and I’m paraphrasing): “The Second Amendment is for when they try to take it away.”
No, the Prime Directive is not the defeat of Hellary. The Prime Directive is to save what's left of our country. The lesser of two evils is still a loss.
Hellary is the fast train to socialism, Mclame is like taking the bus. Both are heading to the same destination.
I will not be at the polls on November 4th. I will be out buying the types of things that will soon be hard to acquire if either one of these a--holes is elected.
I agree that the composition of the Supreme Court is a concern. However, given McCain’s recent comments about Associate Justice Alito, I have no confidence that he would make conservative appointments.
As a 3rd party voter, you will be a part of Hillary Clinton’s victory.
“A’ least we didn’t git all drissed up fa nothin’ “.
The time to make a stand is NOW. If we act NOW we can still keep McCain from getting the nomination. Romney is not perfect but I agree with him more than I agree with McCain. Romney is tough, YOUNGER, and savvy on economics. And Romney can beat Hillary or O’Bama.
Whatever.
