In a case that could wind up in the U.S. Supreme Court, an appeals panel upheld dismissal of a lawsuit by Massachusetts parents seeking to prevent discussion of homosexual families in their children's elementary school classrooms.
The 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals yesterday agreed with a judge's decision last year that a school can expose children to contrary ideas without violating their parents' rights to exercise religious beliefs.
Lynch reasoned that schools must accept the Massachusetts high court's groundbreaking 2003 decision ruling "that the state constitution mandates the recognition of same-sex marriage."

You have got to be kidding me!!!
Ping-a-ling
When it comes to public schools, the bad news never ends. And it’s never going to end until the American people stop sending their children to them.
Isn’t that sweet? (/s)
It’s long past time to pull your kids out of the Government schools.
Oh, you have to see this to believe it, and even then, you might have trouble believing it!
Where are we going and how did we end up in this hand basket?
Parents who love their children need to get them out of the government schools NOW!
Whatever it takes, whatever personal sacrifices must be made - - do it NOW!
As I understand it, he is not the Governor of that stateany longer and has not been for some time.
Well, if nothing else, doesn’t this set it up for a run at the SC to get a final answer on it?
American public schools are nothing but Liberal brainwashing institutions and have been for the past 45+ years.

Sometimes I think the rapture has already happened and we were left behind.
Chalk Mitt off this families vote, what’s that British word,,,??,,Fags, hate them, ain’t very Christian, but this is Evil
How many of the Judges would expose their progeny to this (I guess, with this ruling, they are exposing all their offspring)? Idiocy knows no bounds. Sound like a decision that is designed to make everybody happy rather than sound constitutional reasoning
Jesus, please come soon.
McCain to the rescue.
Trust me, none of those judges kids go to public school.
Every day it gets worse and worse. It’s getting to the point where nothing surprises me anymore.
They aren’t kidding- they are deadly serious. So we, also, must be.
This isn’t about “rights”. They can leave their estates to whomever they choose; insurance companies want some of the considerable wealth of the gay community and are more than happy to include their “partners” in their coverage- no government regs are needed, here.
What this IS, is an attack on the normal and morality. They WANT to force Catholic and Christian churches to perform their “marriages” and they want to rub our noses in their “victory”. Just watch the VERY high profile lawsuits that happen when they get the laws they want.
Worst of all, they want access to our kids. They want to normalize their perversions and recruit without interference from parents.
Conservatives have been beaten back. We have been told that our resistance is “hate speech” and that we have no right to pass judgement. Our attempts to have school vouchers in order to remove our kids from left wing indoctrination was defeated at the hands of the very president who promised them TO us if we would just vote for him.
We try; we are lied to; and when we are disappointed, we allow our issues to fade away without argument. I wonder at what point we will finally carry our demands to fruition and DEMAND that the legislators, that WORK FOR US, finally WORK FOR US?
Will somebody search to find out if this judge was appointed by Governor Romney... Even if he was not, Romney’s actions created the conditions for this to occur.
If Mittens gets in... you ain’t seen nothing yet.
This isn't just a religious issue. Most normal secular parents would balk at this.
As a single father, I put all 4 of my kids thru private schools and it was the best thing I ever did for them.
Sandra L. Lynch
Judge, since 1995
Appointed 1995 by President Clinton
It’s not like this was a bill that he signed into law. They changed the state constitution. I remember when it happened. He was instrumental in getting a reversal initiative on the ballot, which failed. Or something like that. But he was definitely opposed to it.
Massachusetts Governor supports David Parker with statement on television the day following arrest:
“We have in Massachusetts a parental notification statute specifically in matters related to human sexuality. If a parent wants to be informed of what is being taught in a classroom and wants to have their child withdrawn from the classroom for that portion of the class dealing with human sexuality, that parent has the right.” (Thurs., April 28)
In what administration do you think the precedent got its start? Romney signed into law the bill authorizing gay “marriage” in Massachusetts... which is what the judge based his decision on.
Ping.
Amen!
What’s this? I just posted to this thread and got “thank you for your contribution, your comment has been submitted for review” or words to that effect. Never saw such a message before and I’ve made over a thousand posts. Anybody know why it happened?
“Well, if nothing else, doesnt this set it up for a run at the SC to get a final answer on it?”
Only if the SC decides to hear the case. Now HOW many jurists are going to come up for retirement in the next presidential term... three, four? And who do we have for choices on the GOP and Demoncrat ticket? Uh-huh.
I believe you.
Can we get around about year,so I can check it out,,we vote Tuesday....got at least 13 kin who will , if you can’t I’ll look into it tommorrow..
“...a decision that is designed to make everybody happy...”
Everybody? Besides the queers and liberal elites, who could possibly rejoice over this abomination?
It is peculiar how gay militants made so much “progress” in Romney’s own state under his own governorship.
You must be on double super secret probation.
“Appointed 1995 by President Clinton”
Oh my! What a surprise!!
The foundation is falling down all around us, and it’s only going to get worse.
Time to lock and load, friends!
Militant
“that the state constitution mandates the recognition of same-sex marriage.”
that’s good. Then by that same reasoning,WE have freedom of speech, freedom of religion anywhere/anytime,etc
drop the good judge a line to remind her.
That’s what happens when homosexual relationships are legitmized. If I lived in Massachusetts, I’d have to homeschool my children or send them to a private, Catholic school.
That might be the best explanation so far as to how RINOs are the frontrunners in the GOP.
“We try; we are lied to; and when we are disappointed, we allow our issues to fade away without argument. I wonder at what point we will finally carry our demands to fruition and DEMAND that the legislators, that WORK FOR US, finally WORK FOR US?”
When we stop buying the “lesser of evils” crap that the RINO-infested GOP establishment hands us every four years. You know the drill: they give us a Hobson’s Choice and then tell us why it is vital for America to trust the Republicans. At least the Democrats are honest about their intentions.
Nope. It's Massachusetts. No form of depravity is out of bounds here.
Granted, not everybody will be happy about this decision. However, those that need to be stoked (perverts, liberals, etc) will be happy and that seems to be the conceived majority today.

sacrasm off
Step by step
I’m so sad for my kids, but we read Biblical readings every night for my youngest’s reading assignment. Knocks out two birds with one stone. Fortuantely here in Georgia people like this would be run out of town on a rail.
But I really fear for our country but at the same time realize Biblical teaching instructs us that this will indeed happen, no matter what. Our job is to continue walking with the Lord.
It’s still not easy...when the Boy Scouts are a hate group...you know we’ve gone too far around the bend to come back.
I fear the older and more moral and sane generation is dying off and leaving us to fend for ourselves, but on the other hand, I hold out hope one day soon the forces of evil will go so far over the line conservative Christians will put an end to this madness, at least enough to give me hope my kids will be another greatest generation!
