There used to be an old saying “As goes Maine, so does the Union”, hopefully that is the case this time.

“and Mike Huckabee and undecided votes each had about 2%.”

This should be a warning to Huck supporters that they are throwing away a vote.

Maine has 21 delegates. Officially unbound but still if Romney wins they are mostly in his column. McCain is only currently 23 delegates ahead of Romney. If Romney wins Maine then it’s essentially a tie.

"Despite a sleet storm the night before, officials are reporting heavy turnout. At one Augusta elementary school, cars were seen jammed into the parking lot."
