FYI - Tennessee GOP Primary =   The situation remains very fluid as 10-15% of each major candidate’s supporters say there’s a good chance they could change their mind before voting.

Let it be - Make is So!

One thing is for sure....this is going to be one hell of a battle. It will not be over after super Tuesday.

I doubt McCain will win enough to clinch it. Romney, however, might win enough to put McCain into meltdown mode.

Funny, I had to hear about this from FR! If you tune in to Fox, they already have Mitt packed up on the bus back to Mass. Oh, Mort suggested last night that he work towards a 2012 campaign.

I think it may be close or McCain leading slightly after super Tuesday.

22 states and 3 territories to vote from Feb 6th through July 12! Lots of action coming up.

McCain will probably still be leading, but if Romney picks up momentum that may push McCain over the edge. One can only hope.

THis site has a good break out of the various info but you may have to dig around in it a bit. The following link gives closed/open info but isn’t by date.

“I sent that email but haven’t received a reply yet. Just wondering if I should try again or just wait.”

Did you type “I want to win” on the subject line and email it to CallatHome@MittRomney.com ?

If so, you may want to wait a bit and see if you hear from them. I got an answer back within a half hour or less, but I sent my email immediately upon receiving their notice.

They may be swamped by now, though and can’t keep up with the replies as easily. If you don’t hear back soon, you can try again.

They just started this calling thing yesterday. It’s a new program.

I thought Ron Paul was going to win this one? (LOL)

Ron Paul should drop out of the race. He gave it the good fight, but he’s not winning anywhere, and we need to know who his supporters want out of the people who can actually win the nomination.

Only Republicans can vote— hee hee hee.....poor McCain.

True but if you are currently registered as ‘unenrolled’ you can register as a Republican up to 30 minutes prior to the caucus start time. If you are registered as a democrat or green independent you have to switch 15 days prior to the caucus. The major cross over will come from the true group that isn’t affiliated with any party shoud any cross over occur.

When they get to the state convention, they will vote for Huckabee delegates to the national convention.

I would not assume this.

"Am I to infer you'd rather have Hillary than Romney?"

I'd rather have an anvil dropped on my head then have EITHER.

Sorry, unfamiliar with the process, could you pls elaborate. Are you saying even if Romney wins in Maine, he won’t be awarded those delegates?

Technically they are selecting delegates to attend their state convention to be held later own. At the state convention they will select delegates to the RNC convention held in Sept.

If you select delegates that support one candidate over the other it could be assumed that they would voted for like delegates at the state convention but not a given.

Of course, in Iowa, Huckabee only won the non-binding straw poll, and his supporters didn’t really come with their own delegates to elect, so most of the people elected to the next round were the same folks who were going to get elected if Romney won.

Note also that if Huckabee dropped out, there’d be no reason for any of them to vote for Huckabee at the state convention, so they’d probably vote for Romney since he came in 2nd.
