But why are people like Ann Coulter, Tammy Bruce, Michelle Malkin and many here ready to hand over control of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan

Maybe because McCain is ready to hand over this entire country to the Third World hordes through unchecked illegal immigration and amnesty.

If you're really concerned about the troops, then think how unseemly it would be for President McCain to ask them to die for their country overseas, while he's busy giving their country away at home.

Because John McCain is a traitor to his party and I question his mental stability. He is representative of the Rockefeller Republican liberal wing of the Northeast. If he succeeds and beats her, you can kiss good-by to the GOP as a future realistic alternative to the Dems.

Thanks to the checks and balances in the Constitution - the little of it left - Hillary will have a difficult time creating too much damage. Her own party will retrain her and there are still Republicans in Congress. My guess is she will screw things up so badly that by Midterms in 2010, the Repubs can make a comeback IF THEY OFFER A VIABLE ALTERNATIVE TO HER PROGRAMS. That would set the stage for a conservative Republican in 2012.

If John McCain loses, we don’t lose - the RINOS lose. WE win in the long run. Remember Gerald Ford and Jimmy the Peanut Planter? History will repeat itself.

The Republic will survive. We’re not electing a King or Queen here, much as it may seem some times.

I didn’t vote for John McCain, but YOU want to vote for the Dem candidate. Tsk, tsk.
