Something has been bothering me all week and I'm hoping someone here can make me understand. Since 2001, we've been calling the Democrats a party of surrender, anti-war, anti-troops, etc. McCain has his faults. There's no question about it. But why are people like Ann Coulter, Tammy Bruce, Michelle Malkin and many here ready to hand over control of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the future of the War on Terror, and the care of our troops to Hillary Clinton? That's what will happen if people decide to either stay home or vote for Hillary in some kind of misguided moral protest. Don't our troops deserve better than that? It's throwing them to the wolves.

I am trying to find a silver lining in all of this. If Romney fails to get the nomination, I will have to learn how to pinch my nose and vote for Mcinsane. If Mcinsane gets the nomination, we will have a huge job ahead of us. There will be new people coming into the party trying to redecorate the party. We will have to hold firm to our convictions and convert them to our conservative ideals. That job, looking to the future, will be very difficult. It is obvious that those people supporting Mcinsane, have a lot to learn and, the work conservatives have been doing all these years, will have to be redone on these unwashed, ignorant masses. I am hoping that the conservatives hold firm and stay in the party to work their magic on those who need a conservative conversion.

I don't think that thinking about the future consequences of a Mcinsane nomination was taking a look at that place where the sun does not shine. I am trying to taking a look ahead. You see it as a ship wreck about to happen and all you need to do is jump ship. I see it as sitting aboard TWA 2008 and seeing the hijackers taking over the airplane. There will be no life boats. There will be no parachutes. We will all go down if we do nothing. I ask what are you going to do?

Other than your insults, what do you say now that Super Tuesday has given McCain almost half of the 1191 total delegates?
I’m not voting for Hillary nor will I sit out. However, I am leaning towards voting libertarian or writing in a candidate. I will have a very very difficult time even trying to talk myself into voting for McCain.
I will write in "Bullwinkle," like I have said many times.
I have resigned from the Republican party, the voter registration card is sitting with the morning mail outs.
I have re-registerd with the American Independent party.

Anyone watching this dialog and still can have such a thought as you just expressed.... is either dumber than box of rocks or intentionally taking the party that direction.
John McCain represents nothing in my political belief system. NOTHING
But the dumbest of all are those who don’t understand how important getting originalist judges for SCOTUS, and the federal courts, because judges can affect everything else, and they are there for life.

And you honestly believe John Traitor McCain will give you originalists judges? :-) That's laughable and naive at best.
