Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin will never vote for Hillary. Ann goes from brilliance to idiocy in one breath quite frequently. Michelle is just angry, as most of us are, that the Conservative movement is dying in the GOP.

Rather than worry about why so many here and elsewhere are so mad at the GOP for anointing McNasty, why not look at the scumbag for what he is? A party that stands for nothing or is no different than it’s supposed enemy party is itself “the enemy” of its members!

I would imagine that quite a few freepers are not Republicans, but are Indy cons like me. They don’t “dance” every time the Rinocracy—the powers that be who “approve” of a McNasty or a Suckabee candidacy—says “Dance!” And unlike the usual reports of how “Independents are going for McNasty”, there are a lot of Indy cons who feel exactly like Ann Coulter feels, only she says it a hell of a lot better.

First of all, it’s a no-win situation no matter how you look at it. When the BEST we can hope for is a flip-flopping Massachusetts liberal, you see there are no good outcomes. We are doomed to electing someone worse than Bush, no matter what party label they wear.

I’m definitely NOT voting for McCain. I’m definitely NOT voting for Clinton. Maybe that means third party or maybe that means staying home. But it WON’T be to teach the GOP a lesson. I think they’ve gone too far over the cliff for that. What I am realizing is that the GOP is the FORMER home of the Conservative movement and is no longer a party I can respect if they nominate Sen. McJudas.

If it came down to Obama versus McCain, I could picture myself voting for Obama since I don’t think he’ll be effective getting anything passed and the Dems will catch all the flack for the impending disasters to come instead of having bipartisan cover while a President McCain signs off on the things the Democrats want.

As for the troops, probably the best thing for them IS to come home if any of the current front-runners are calling the shots. They can be content that they got about 80% of the job done in Iraq and any remaining mission failures were failures from Washington not failures in the field.

No, that’s not how I want it to be but it is shaping up that there is no scenario that is anywhere close to how I want it to be. There are only worse scenarios than unspeakably bad scenarios. To me, that’s not a valid reason for choosing unspeakably bad candidates just to prevent even worse ones.

So, I am a man without a party. I feel nothing for the Republicans after voting for them ever since I was legal to vote.

But if McCain is their nominee, that’s it for me. Adios, GOP. And they can give me back my damn money while they’re at it or I might sue them for fraud.

If I get any fundraising mailers from the GOP, I plan to tie a few bricks to their return envelope and tell them to go suck an egg and blow it out their ass.

I have a question for you. I’ll answer yours if you’ll answer mine. You give it short shrift, you can expect the same.

RINOs pretend to be conservative and coopt a conservative site like Free Republic. As far as I can tell, not one of them has responded to my contention that this isn’t a GOP website, it’s a conservative website so they have no business telling us to vote for a RINO.

The GOP turned its back on conservatism when it didn’t uphold Thompson or Hunter. Putting this kind of RINO garbage on Free REpublic deserves a zot.

We are not connected to or funded by any political party, news agency, or any other entity. ....

From the front page of Free Republic:

Statement by the founder of Free Republic
As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. .... We are not connected to or funded by any political party, news agency, or any other entity. .... We aggressively defend our God-given and first amendment guaranteed rights to free speech, free press, free religion, and freedom of association, as well as our constitutional right to control the use and content of our own personal private property. Despite the wailing of the liberal trolls and other doom & gloom naysayers, we feel no compelling need to allow them a platform to promote their repugnant and obnoxious propaganda from our forum. Free Republic is not a liberal debating society. We are conservative activists dedicated to defending our rights, defending our constitution, defending our republic and defending our traditional American way of life.

Time for the FALCONservatives to assert themselves.
Death of the GOP and the Birth of a New Political Party

The time may soon come where many of us say, like Ronald Reagan’s famous quote regarding the Democrat party, “I didn’t leave the Republican party, the Republican party left me.”

So, here’s my question: Why do you expect Freepers to toe the Republican line when it isn’t a republican website?

Boy your in trouble for posting that. You know that we conservatives must agree with our candidates 90% or more or we will freak out, panic, get angry, argue, splinter, scatter and put a democRAT in office by write in votes or not voting.

Its the democRATS that show more unity, not us.

I dont care for McCain at all, I disagree with his policy on taxes, energy, IMMIGRATION, and others. His "gang of 14" nonsense to help the democRATS was despicable, his attack on free speech is horrible. He has a long history of siding with the democRATS. I will not vote for him in the primary.

Will I vote for him if he gets the nomination? You bet I will. I will take him over Obama/Hillary any day. Ill take someone I agree with on foreign policy rather than an anti-military socialist democRAT I disagree with 100%. The math is simple.

So let me get this straight: Johnny Mac will be strong on the War on Terror. Ok, so he supported the surge (Hillary originally voted in support of the war as well). Yet, how can one honestly “fight” a War on Terror when he/she favors a complete amnesty/open borders policy? It is one thing to vote for a candidate who wants to fight a war in the Middle East, but quite another to listen to that politician tout his “war” credentials and then vote to allow any illegal over the border regardless of nationality or creed. I am sorry, but Sen. McCain can’t have it both ways and neither can Conservatives who are truly dedicated to the war on terror. Closing the borders is a critical battle in the War on Terror...it is one that Sen. McCain loses.

Even Mr. Negative Michael Savage said he would vote McCain over Hitlery or Obama, but prefers Mitt. He based his choice on McCain’s 82% rating from the American conservative Union and his C+ from the NRA, compared to Hillary’s F.

I wouldn’t vote for McCain if they took me to vote in a complementary limo, and gave me free gas for a year.

I think Hillary Clinton would make a better president than John McCain. She has a better temperament than he for one thing.

If John McCain is the nominee, I will stay home. My husband, on the other hand, will actually vote for Hillary.

I’m afraid a McCain nomination will make many conservatives stay home, regardless of Hillary as the opponent.

hand over control

Only God is in control. Always has been, always will. It is He who raises up one and puts down another for His purpose. (Psalm 75:6-8) If Hillary is chosen by Him, I do not fear for I trust in Him and He has never let me down. We will have exactly what and who we deserve to lead this country, and he/she will be placed there by God Himself. It will be for His purpose alone.

This nation will not fall unless God wills it. The question we must ask ourselves is, "Are we giving God reason to will it?" The answer is, "If God does not judge America, then He must apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah."

Are you afraid of being waterboarded or something? If so, McCain will protect you!

Clinton - with strong GOP and conservative opposition in congress - won't immediately cut and run. It would look way too bad, and they wanted that plastered on Bush and the GOP. In 4 years, we will get another shot. Hopefully, we will get a real conservative in.

My biggest problem is that the two left-wingnut Supreme court old as the hill justices are past due to step aside. I hate the thought of McCain, Hillary or BHO appointed their replacements.

I won’t vote for a democrat or McCain. If Hillary gets in, which I doubt, so be it. We all know what we will get with Hillary. We don’t know what we’ll get with McCain except a broken GOP for years to come.

Go to youtube and search for two videos.

AZ Town Hall with John McCain

Don't ask McCain

The second one he almost has a woman thrown out of the meeting .

This is not the kind of man I want dealing with foreign dignitaries or negotiating anything with anybody. Before I read all the negatives about him here, my only thought when he first came to the forefront was that he was too old and wouldn't have a chance against Hillary or Obama. Then I read more here and elsewhere. And saw how he smirked and behaved at the CNN debate. That did it.

No way Jose.

If Romney doesn't win the primaries, I will either write him in, sit home, or use the Ann Colter nuclear option and vote for Hillary , never imagined in a hundred million years I would do such a thing. My vote won't count in my state anyway.

I'd like to know how many anti-McCainites live in hardcore blue states where an R vote won't count but in the popular vote. We should really band together and try to vote some kind of grass roots protest and work for R seats in congress. There are many other conservative blogs on the web where people are saying the same things pro and con, mostly con, re McCain.

Most wouldn't go so far as voting for Hillary, and I think many will cave in and come around for McCain. I won't.

I give him credit for what he endured in Hanoi, but that was then, and this is now.

I don’t care how pro-war you are, do you really want us to have troops in Iraq 100 years from now as McCain suggested? Just how much blood and money are we going to spend on a country that will probably end up being another Islamic state?

Conservatives staying home is like a kid covering his eyes in hide and seek. We need to go out and vote for Hillary or Obama .Let the country blame the Dems for what will ensue. The Dems are smart enough to let the military conduct the war and they lost on health care once before;congressional Republicans will fight a Dem President but not a Republican one. In four years, Mitt will be tempered by the fire of Conservatism and shoe in as the 2012 nominee. Result: no Dem will get the Presidency for many years...time enough for Conservatives to retrench their power. Worse case scenario is we lose a justice...Roe-Wade doesn’t get overturned so we work on a state by state program. We seem to be at our best when we are in the minority, guerilla-fighting the Dems. McCain is certifiable, an opportunist, a snake and in the end the GREATER of two evils.(excuse my circumlocution)

I have no intention on sitting out the election. I will show up and proudly vote to reelect Saxby Chambliss for senate. However, I can assure you that if John McCain is the Republican nominee, I will not for him.

I will consider it a case where I did not abandon the republican party, but rather the republican party abandoned me.

I have to ask you what is more important in this age? Is it the economy or the war on terror?...Vote your conscience...Is it that the value of those who have a strong voice-opinion that has been in the forefront of the conservative movement. (my God,Please don't let Ann Coulter persuade you...she is nothing but a marketer of goods as in her opinions. I have come to the conclusion that Hillary can do more damage in 4 years than any other candidate on the Republican side. I will go with the nominee. Screw Ann Coulter and her "If democrats had a brain, they'd be Republicans"...That is the stuff that makes her money...not you
