So we throw the nation to the wolves on every other issue?

Not buying it.

If Republicans vote for the Dem candidate, just to teach the Republican Party a lesson, the RNC is only going to think the country wants the Republican to be MORE liberal, and they will give us someone who is more liberal next time.

“It’s throwing them to the wolves?”

It’s a bridge too far even for Sean Hannity, as much as he’s been knocking McCain.

The answer is yes, by the way.

I do not feel it is in the best interest of the nation to vote for MCain. I believe he is mental. I believe Hillary with all of her failings would serve the nation better. It pains me to think this way. We must look at what is best for the Republic not just the party. I am a life long Republican —and a moderate one at that— but there is something about McCain that sends chills up my spine. He’s Nixon without the charm. He will be bad for the nation and cause more harm that Hillary and her “Hubby.”

I won’t be voting for McCain, he can go to hell, and so can his friend Huckabee. I can’t stand it when people play dirty. I won’t vote for that creep or reward his disgusting little deal he has going with Huckabee. If it comes between McCain and Obama, I will vote for Obama. If it comes between McCain and Hillary I will stay home. I’m pissed, can you tell?

Suppose you buy meat for your restaurant from a supplier. The supplier begins selling you rancid meat. Do you keep taking the unacceptable product? If you do you’ll only get more of the same.

It’s time to fire the GOP. We need a supplier who won’t try to sell us garbage.

Don't our troops deserve better than that? It's throwing them to the wolves.

Why don't we try leaving the troops out of it, they are all big boys and girls and do a fine job of taking care of themselves.

Our troops have survived much worse. The American military troop is the toughest soldier/sailor/marine on the planet.

America has survived Carter and Clinton I. We can survive Clinton II.

Conservatives, on the other hand, lose all respect and dignity if we roll-over and man the phone banks, pound the pavement and vote for the one “Republican” who has made a career of stabbing us in the back.

We’ll wait until `12 and present a real Republican and a real Conservative. Back-stabbing RINO’s MUST be stopped and purged.

“McCain has his faults. There’s no question about it.”

There’s nothing but bad choices left if McCain is the nominee.
Those who advocate saving the Republican party by letting the Rats have this one, have a good argument. It’s either that, or a conservative third party. Voting for Juan McAmnesty is not something I could get myself to do.

What Hillary would do to the country would not last as long as any judge she would appoint to the supreme court. We might get some middle of the road feel good judge with some of our current crop of candidates on the republican side. But nothing like the judge Hillary or Obama would appoint. We might not be able to recover from this lesson in our lifetime.

“McCain has his faults.”

Yes, he does, and far too many of them, which is why I won’t vote for him in the primaries.

McCain has his faults. There's no question about it. But why are people like Ann Coulter, Tammy Bruce, Michelle Malkin and many here ready to hand over control of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the future of the War on Terror, and the care of our troops to Hillary Clinton?

McCain is an enemy of conservatism as is Hillary, but at least she doesn't hide it. Both will totally screw this country over if elected, and both will incur the wrath of the voter after it is all over. So who do you want the American people to hold in contempt? A Democrat? Or a Democrat wearing a Republican suit who describes himself as 'conservative'?

There is no way in hell I would ever vote for Hillary Clinton. Having said that, there is no way in hell I would vote for John McCain. The lesser of two evils is still evil, and when good decides to compromise with evil, only evil will profit.

4 years on John McCain will result in more deaths of U.S. military than Hitlerly or Hussein. It’s much easier to stop on enemy trying to go through you rather than one constantly flanking you and stabbing you in the back.

I've angrily criticized those saying they will sit out the election, or even vote democrat. I still do.

But I have to admit, McCain troubles me on several levels. Just saw a clip from the last debate, in which he expressed all this emotion about how global warming is threatening the people in Florida with hurricanes. I either have to conclude McCain believes all that nonsense, in which case he's being quite dumb, or that he just says it to pander to the envoronmental vote. I really am not sure which, but I think he believes it.

On global warming, ANWR and a few other issues I don't see how McCain could logically arrive at his positions. It causes me to question his judgment. It also makes me wonder if he can win, despite initial polls showing strength.

It still makes no sensse to sit out the election or (God forbid) vote dem. Every single McCain position that troubles me, the dems are super liberal on, plus they are liberal where he is conservative. And National security is too important to ignore.

I'm just writing all this to say I sympathize with those who really dislike McCain on several issues.

Forget it Fargo, these people aren’t susceptible to reason on this point. John McCain hurt their feels and they’re never voting for the SOB no matter what.

Still I’ll remember,so in 2 years when the head of planned parenthood gets that seat on the supreme court, Al Qaeda Iraq is launching attacks against us from Baghdad, and taxes are through the roof to pay for socialized medicine I don’t want to hear them bitch. I won’t be in the mood, because it won’t be I told you so, it’s I’m telling you NOW.
