I do not feel it is in the best interest of the nation to vote for MCain. I believe he is mental. I believe Hillary with all of her failings would serve the nation better. It pains me to think this way. We must look at what is best for the Republic not just the party. I am a life long Republican —and a moderate one at that— but there is something about McCain that sends chills up my spine. He’s Nixon without the charm. He will be bad for the nation and cause more harm that Hillary and her “Hubby.”

Any person who would give government the ability to regulate political speech should be hounded from office.

That includes not only McCain and Feingold, but every elected individual who did not go to the mat in opposition to McCain-Feingold.

For some reason, I don't believe your pain.

I just don’t buy that...McCain’s not my favorite but just visualizing Laura and W giving BACK the keys to Whitehouse to these two creatures is so unnerving and nauseating and revolting.

Besides, we know for certain liberal activist judges will be appointed byt the HUNDREDS...the military will be torn to shreds...NOT so with McCain...not to mention SCOTUS...nah...the Clintons will be spiteful and more dangerous than any RINO!

McCain may be mental but the has the country at heart. Hillary is only interested in carrying out the platform ...the Marxist platform.

We are back to the old game of just voting for someone because he is the party’s man. The sad thing...is that neither candidate is going to satisfy us.

If there ever were a 3rd party run...that would have success over all fifty states...this is the race. I think more than enough of us would give up on both Hillary and McCain...and vote 3rd party just to make a statement.

The idea...that after five primary efforts in the US...the majority of potential candidates for either party are gone...is the biggest joke of the year...and reason enough to change the entire primary season. It might serve the nation alot more...if you had all of the primarys in a five day period in Feb...giving a breathe of fresh air to potential candidates in winning.

I do not like McCain, but I will never, ever forget that Hillary is a vindictive personality who will use her power to go after anyone who gets in her way. Nor will I forget the humiliation the Clintons brought upon our country before and are all too likely to repeat. Only Mr. Clinton will have a whole lot more time and absolutely no responsibility to the voters for his disgusting activities. The MSM will cheer him on, while we watch dishonor once again taint our White House and our country.

I once joked, "I'd vote for Saddam Hussein before I vote for McCain." B-D

Getting serious here....

Well, I am terrified that we will end up with McCain, Obama, or Hillary although I do agree with you on McCain's mean, mental streak. The only thing Hillary has in her favor is that she is cold, calculating and I don't think she will make a move without thinking like a chess computer. I like to call her "a computer in a pants suit." Will I vote more McCain, most likely not unless you can really convince me or if through hours of prayer and thinking, it feels the best thing to do, but I will most likely go third party or write my name in. I hope Mitt Romney, even if he has his flaws, somehow beats McCain. The other "good side" with Hillary is that she will most likely put a fire under the Republican's butts to oppose her much like her husband did in the 1990's. This is going to be one long election season and I really don't know what to do, I have a rule, "no more Clintons," but if it is McCain, I just can't do it, vote for him I mean.

As to Obama, IIRC, he is a bit like McCain but with the ability to charm a corpse back to life. Obama once said that he would go into Pakistan to get Bin Laden, that is good, but he would just jump in without looking.

Crap, why can't we get somebody with scruples and good name recognition to run, maybe Chuck Norris (although he supports Huckabee), or whatever.

"He will be bad for the nation and cause more harm that Hillary and her “Hubby.” " Then we are doomed to Civil War combined with Islamic attacks combined with invasion from Mexico --- Lincoln, Wilson, FDR, LBJ and Carter rolled into one. Should I suicide now or wait until the fireworks in 2012?
