Yes, it will likely be the same here for McCain as it was for Bush in 2000. Really, I don’t think McCain would be much worse of a president than Bush has been, and fiscally he’ll almost certainly be better.
Most folks here will eventually come around. Especially if McCain has the brain to pick a good conservative VP.

He lost to a flaming liberal because conservatives in Ohio like me refused to vote for a backstabbing McCain sycophant. DeWine had simply carried McCain’s water one time too many with the Gang of 14 suck-up.

Most of us have core beliefs and principles and no matter says I will not come around. The GOP and the country will be better off with him losing because the conservative movement needs o stay alive for America to survive as a nation long term.
