Doug, McCain is a politician...It is no different than the previous election where we were promised by GW Bush the world...Actually, I truly believe that McCain will hold true to his conservative promise. He has done that in Arizona...He did stray from his normal conservative record after the 2000 election against W. I cannot explain that. I truly believe he will hold true to conservative values in the long run...I believe he is more of a Barry Goldwater type of conservative...Ideologically, it’s not going to please us all.... But, to the sense that he will hold true as a “foot soldier” against big government.

Do you believe that Hillary will allow us to keep guns? This is the danger. She will, by executive order, change the law and dare anyone to stop her. She will get her true believers on the Supreme Court to enforce anything she wants to do. Hillary is capable of declaring a national emergency and simply confiscating guns. Do some of you not think she would do that?

EXECUTIVE ORDER 2133

January 20, 2009

Because of the pervasive violence and imminent threat to life and health, I hereby declare a national health emergency. I have a appointed a commission to work with governors of every state and mayors of every city to solve this national crisis that has taken far too many lives.

As of March 1, 2009, I hereby declare that the private ownership of guns, other than those used for hunting or by law enforcement officials, is illegal.

Citizens will have 30 days to voluntarily turn in their weapons. The penalty for failure to comply is a maximum fine of $10,000 and maximum imprisonment of 5 years.

President Hillary Rodham

Reasons to vote against McCain:

#1: Amnesty via McLame/Kennedy

#2: Shredding the 1st Amendment via McLame/Feingold

#3: Force feeding business and consumers to buy into the Global Warming Idiocy via McCain/Lieberman

#4: Nominating this RINO for the Presidency will relegate conservatives to the back benches in the body politic!

you notice that he says that AFTER he builds the fence he will proceed with immigration reform. In other words. He hasn’t changed his ideas about immigration, only the sequence he uses to implement them.

I received the same call even though I registered as an Independent last summer

Well, that puts a new light on the high Independent turnout in Florida. I used to live there and many Independents and Libertarians register Repubublican to vote in the general, but usually not for the primary. McCain must be blasting everyone he can he can get on a list.

If mccain becomes president, he will lash out viciously at conservatives and anyone else who dares criticize him. But we’re only talking about a potential future here. Instead, let’s look at the actual past.

mccain has already lashed out at us for criticizing him in 2000. His mccain-feingold bill is an example. I suspect his main motivation behind the bill was to punish those who ran negative ads that derailed his 2000 presidential campaign. He hates those who criticize him and has acted to silence them. That’s the actual past.

So, in the potential future, McCain wouldn’t hesitate to shut down places that criticize him, such as Free Republic and Talk Radio.

McCain’s fellow senators would stand up to him relative to the fairness doctrine. Some of you are still not believing what Hillary is capable of doing. She will make law without Congress, and she will get away with it. She doesn’t need Congress. What other person could get away with taking and using 900 FBI files? Our party would never allow our president to get away with that. The Dems will certainly allow it. They don’t care about the law. They care about power.

Can you imagine this type of vengeful, vicious person acquiring power of this magnitude? Absolute power corrupts absolutely! This guy is a bomb just waiting to explode and when/if he becomes top dog, well his enemies ain’t seen nothing yet.

We have been naive. They have no conscience. We had our eyes opened by the behavior of the Dems when they ruled the House/Senate. I HOPE that our Senators/Congressmen will not be so stupid again. We WILL take back the Senate and the House. I just hope we can get them back before too much damage is done.

From one Doug to another doug; what would you suggest I use to hold my nose when I vote?

First of all, most of the promises that McCain is making are not in the power of the president to enact. The congress levies taxes, it builds border fences, and passes legislation regarding the freedom of the air waves.

Whenever McCain did have the power to affect these issues, he voted against them. As a matter of fact John McCain authored legislation to limit free political speech, to give amnesty to illegal aliens and to impose an economy killing tax on on carbons.

If Hillary gets back into the White House, our country is going to change forever.

AGREED! But the scary part is current media-darling McCain will be eaten alive if he gets the nomination. Articles began to hit the media today that, although not exactly negative on McCain directly, show the media is willing to begin to attack his family. The liberal MSM WANT him to be the Dem opponent so badly I really wonder exactly what they "have" on him, but I suspect we may soon begin to find out if Tuesday doesn't go well.

I don’t think people who envision a Reagan rising form the ashes to a sweeping election in 2012 realize the implications of allowing someone like Clinton back in the Whitehouse. The democrats will never allow themselves to be out of power again.

As your president, I promise to lead our nation and our party as a Ronald Reagan conservative.

A lie.

I'll lower your taxes, veto wasteful government spending, and ensure our party returns to the smaller government principles on which it began.

Three more lies.

I'll secure our border first before pursuing any other immigration reform.

The Big Lie. I'll appoint conservative judges like justices Alito and Roberts.

A bladfaced lie. I will protect the sanctity of life
