Suffolk also polled Florida and did great, calling it for McCain +3.

SUMMARY:

McCain: 39
Romney: 32
Huckabee: 8
Paul: 4

75% of those polled said it was unlikely they would change their mind before Tuesday, and with the debate over with, it's hard to see what could do so, anyway.

59% didn't watch the debate, but Romney "won" it 37 to McCain's 25.

The Economy and Illegal Immigration are the top two issues in the race, with 65% answering with one of those two choices.

Why do they always picture Gramps from his right side. What is that thing on his left jaw ? Believe me the clintons will find out.

Our uninformed electorate. Their vote counts just as much as ours.

This poll is completely bogus.

First of all, the demographics are way off. 50% of this poll are made of people over 65.

Have they ever heard of weighting a poll? 50% of California is over 65?

I believe that is one of the many scars inflicted upon him by his North Vietnamese captors when he was a P.O.W..

Not that we need give him the nomination because of his scars and his service.

50% of the California primary voters might well be over 65. Last time I went voting it was me and my pretty young wife and a bunch of geezers. They looked at us like we were crashing an AARP meeting.

No. It's from the removal of a melanoma he had on his face.

The economy and illegal immigration are the most important and yet, he is leading in the polls. Romney is better on both of those issues. What a crock.

It’s hard to believe that in a state overrun with illegals and having a closed Republican primary, that McCain could possibly win. Are the remaining Republicans there really that stupid?

CA is not winner take all. It’s winner take all by district.

Even if these number are correct, Romney can take around 70 delegates.

And I do not believe the numbers are correct, I’ve voted in the primaries here and I do not believe 50% of the Republicans here are over 65.

We need a big win for Mitt on Tuesday. I’d love to see the look on Arnold’s face!

Current poll results from FR members on who should win Super Tuesday:

Mitt Romney____ 76.5% (612)
Ron Paul_______ 10.0% (80)
Mike Huckabee__ 8.9% (71)
John McCain____ 4.6% (37)
____________ 100.0% (800)

These FR polls usually turn out about the way I expect them to, but they are shockingly different from the primary results.

These are better numbers than I expected for Romney. CA is NOT, repeat, NOT WTA.

If they are evenly distributed, and they might not be, but if they are then of CA’s 170 delegates he would get 0.32 X 174 = 55ish. McCain would get 63. That simply isn’t the sort of lead that is going to avalanche McCain into the nomination.
