Even after receiving the endorsement of Georgia’s two United States Senators, John McCain finds himself in a tight three-way race in that Southern State’s Primary.

(snip)

Before McCain’s significant victory Florida’s Presidential Primary, Huckabee was leading by fifteen percentage points in Georgia. Now, Romney appears to be gaining some “Anybody-but-McCain” support. The former Massachusetts Governor has struggled in the South throughout the campaign.

What a shame that Chambliss & Isakson have endorsed McQueeg. Looks as if Georgia would be a cinch for Romney if he only had them on his side.

I cannot believe that McCain leads like this in Georgia.
Is this a winner take all?

I will never understand, nor have respect for, people who base who they will vote on the endorsements they get from other politicians. I guess it’s too much to ask for alot of people to actually think for themselves though. Sad.

Romney should run ads touting himself as the only Washington outsider and note this is highlighted by all the “insiders” endorsing McCain.

Someone on Romney’s behalf needs to be hammering Georgia voters with McCain’s (& Huck’s) involvement & support of illegals. The people of Georgia are being impacted negatively by illegals, and they aren’t complete idiots, just not nearly as informed as those of us who follow politics obsessively.

These Rasmussen polls scare me and excite me. Excited because they show a lot of close races for Romney...scare me because they seem to be outliers to most everything else.

Romney 2008!

Snowe and Collins endorsed McCain in Maine. Sure did not help him there. In fact Snowe was booed at the caucus!!

Romney has the big MO and he can take Georgia. He is endorsed by Jack Kingston who is a much more reliable conservative then the Twin “I was going to vote for amnesty then the Georgia People found out about it,” Senators.

Describe supply & demand.

Democrats; The American public should supply all the taxes we demand.

Republicans; We will supply the Government you demand.

Looks orchestrated.

Is the establishment against Conservatives or am I just paranoid?

Romney could win CA and GA

along with a few other states......

Not saying he will, but it’s certainly within his grasp to have a very solid showing on Tuesday

If only 1/4 of all Huckster voters would suddenly come to their senses and realize they are only paving the way for McCain......

How could Romney claim to be the only Washington outsider when Huckabee is still in the race? Arkansas is twice as far from Washington as Massachusetts is.

What a shame that Chambliss & Isakson have endorsed McQueeg.

Why wouldn't they? They were 2 of the original amnesty bill sponsors (remember the famous photo of all the laughing senators?) Sure, they changed their tunes after a megabad backlash from the Georgia voters but I don't doubt for a second they would back a President McCain sponsored amnesty bill. They are deep in the pockets of the poultry and agriculture lobbyists.

And Arizona

McCain better campaign in his home state instead of Massachusetts because Romney is within striking distance of taking it from him.

"What a shame that Chambliss & Isakson have endorsed McQueeg. Looks as if Georgia would be a cinch for Romney if he only had them on his side."

McCain had the endorsement of every elected Republican in Maine and got his butt kicked in Maine yesterday.

I honestly think there is something of a backlash against all these endorsements, especially with so many Republicans angry at the party establishment. "If the Establishment wants Candidate A and the liberal press wants Candidate A, then I'm voting for candidate B."

I am torn Between Romney and Huckabee. There’s no way I could vote for McCain.

Simple. He's the only Washington outsider who has a Chance of winning the nomination. Huckabee has no chance.

It took thousands of calls for the idiots to realize what a farce it was.

the MSM is still not reporting anything of substance.

It is all enorsement a palooza.

Though I did see a CNN romney (CNN! we reduced to that) interview where he cited a litany of talk shows that have endorsed or spoken well of him.

One endorsed by the belway, one endorsed by the sounding board of the citizens.
